   Absolutely AMAZING! Fabulous restaurant! They have not missed a beat since the re-opening. Food was spot on. Grouper entree was succulent. The 7oz filet was perfectly prepared with grits and hollandaise sauce. Brian was our server and his attention to detail was excellent. Had the opportunity to meet the chefs and were super impressed with their hospitality and service. This restaurant is a great venue!

   Had a remarkable experience dining at Red Stag tonight. The bison tenderloin was delicious, the brussel sprouts were the best ever and the lava cake topped with cherries jubilee was a perfect ending. Kessler Cabernet is a great pour! A very special thanks to chef James Lumley for making our evening extra special (we got married at the Bohemian and he looked up our wedding menu and surprised us with apps related to our special day) Alana was a great server. The attention to detail was next level, definitely a very memorable evening!

   It was great to be back at the Red Stag Grill after such devastation last year from the storm. For only being open just a week the food and service was outstanding. This is our favorite restaurant and highly recommend to both locals and visors. Thanks Red Stag and congratulations on your return to serving the Asheville area.

   We had a mixed experience on our first visit back since Helene. The cocktails were great and the wine selection was very good. We tried three different salads and all were very tasty - good combination of ingredients and dressed just right. We were less impressed with our main course. Two of us had the lamb shank with grits. The lamb was okay, but the grits were rather bland. The boar chop was a little overdone and somewhat dry. While we love the vibe around the bar and will certainly go back, I'm not sure I would return for a full dinner with all of the other great options around.

    We are locals and are thrilled that Red Stag has reopened 8 months after the hurricane. It was our favorite fine dining establishment in Asheville before Helene and is even better now. The service is prompt without being overbearing, the food is exceptional and the new menu has more choices and some lower prices. Free valet parking too!!
