   We enjoyed a wonderful birthday celebration at Red Shoe Island Bistro. The food was amazing, the service was excellent and the restaurant is so cute and cozy. We will be back next year!

   John provided an absolutely amazing experience. The food suggested were to die for and we could have licked the plates for sure!

   Décor très sympathique et original, centré autour de la musique et de David Bowie. Accueil et service très professionnel et courtois. Par contre, déçu par les plats. Snapper et scallops étaient beaucoup trop cuits, vraiment dommage.

   Our second time at Red Shoe and it was very good. The last time we didn’t experience the two established seatings at 6 and 8PM. We did the 6pm seating and it was a little awkward with everyone lined up outside on the sidewalk before the doors opened. This format resulted in some delays with us getting our beverages and ordering our food. The food was fantastic but those seated a couple minutes before us were eating their appetizers before we even ordered. Regardless, we will be back and I highly recommend getting a reservation.

   It was our 7th trip to the island and 1st to this restaurant. The ambience is fun and colorful. The waitstaff is excellent. The food was scrumptious except that my snapper fish had a bit too much heat. My husband loved the grouper and even enjoyed lavender cheesecake! I had the key lime pie and give it high marks also. We will return!

   The expectations were through the roof after all of the reviews we read, me and my partner went there to end our holiday with a date night so we wanted something to be remembered. However this place will be remembered for the worst possible reasons. The food was quite pricey and the quality less than terrible. I ordered the scallops that were extremely overcooked and rubbery with a sort of spinach frittata that tasted only of bad quality cheese and was not in any way making sense in the dish. My partner ordered one of their specials the “yellow tail snapper” that was again overcooked and too thin to be a grilled slice of fish. The sauce was watery, the risotto was gluey because of the rice that was not al dente. Our dinner ended there because of the horrible experience. So if you want good food for the love of god don’t go there.

   Amazing first time dinner at Red Shoe. Food is off the charts, with great suggestions from our server. Really a must-try place in Key West with exceptional food and service. Will be our go to place next time.

   We had a fabulous experience at The Red Shoe last week. Our 6:00 PM seating began with a warm welcome—even before we entered. Suzy and the wait staff came out from the restaurant and greeted guests by name from across the street, creating a fun and personal start to the evening. We shared the shrimp toast appetizer, the grilled Caesar salad, and the house specialty Yellowtail dish—each one outstanding. The staff worked seamlessly as a team, and their energy, happiness, and efficiency added to the vibrant atmosphere. The restaurant’s lively vibe, paired with great service and a David Bowie soundtrack, made the evening truly memorable. Thank you, Suzy, for making our anniversary so special. We highly recommend The Red Shoe!

    Loved the set seating times! We did the 6pm seating and loved the outdoor street welcome from the staff. Jason and I were celebrating our 28th Anniversay and appreciated the special attention! John, our server, was excellent!!! He was easy to talk to , great at explaining the menu, offering suggestions and seemed to really enjoy his job! The food was delicous, shared the shrimp mango toast, caprese salad and dinned on the scallops and the yellowtail (favored) entrees! The vibe is cool 80's music with a special nod to Bowie <3
