   Amazing place with amazing food. I always order the traditional Eritrean food. The staff here are incredible and they always make me feel like I have been invited over for dinner. Try it, you won't be disappointed

   Nice little place to have a family out. Very friendly lady served us, answered our questions about the menu and showed us an example of their special dish. The food was interesting and quite tasty. Only hope they will have more soft drink choice. Will go again.

   Another fantastic night in the Red Sea Restaurant. Great Italian and Eritrean dishes at amazingly reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

   Appealing family-run place with twinkling string lights and plenty of Eritrean customers. We felt well-taken care of, as if by an aunt, who is happy to explain dishes. Chicken Zinghni, although mighty spicy, very flavourful. Another dry lamb dish with green peppers was well-grilled but dry and boring. Hamli (kale with lemony herbs), though, was excellent. You get a huge enamel platter with more than enough injera pancake to eat with. We didn't try the Italian dishes.

   We decided to try the Eritrean menu.Unfortunately the food was not to our taste. Also the restaurant looked a lot better in the photo than in reality. A bit dissappointed.

   Awesome restaurant! doesn't look much from the outside but the food and staff are amazing and make you feel so welcome. Great for impressing foreign visitors, producing a unique and friend making dinner!

   We had a family dinner at Red Sea, Camberwell on Saturday evening as we were very interested in trying the Eritrean food after reading the reviews. We enjoyed the Red Sea platter which consisted of a mixture of very tasty vegeterian and meat dishes served on a layer of pancake-like bread. Although the service was a little disorganised at times, the staff were extremely friendly. Felt like being on holiday!

   Great food, very nice service and homey feeling atmosphere. Definitely going back again and would highly recommend it to anyone who is already familiar with Ethiopian food and/or wants to try a delicious new cuisine!

    This place is amazing - great food - great hospitality and did I say great food... If you have never tried food from this part of the world then you need to get down to the Red Sea and enjoy the best Eritrean food ever.... And don't forget to have the tea after the meal.....
