We recommend making reservations. Looking for a relaxing, sit-down lunch? The Red Rock Grill serves a beautiful assortment of starters, salads, handheld fare, and hot entrees. The Grill’s outdoor patio makes for a particularly lovely lunch spot. Takeout is also available by visiting the host stand. For the second consecutive night we dined at the Red Rock Grill because there is no other restaurant in Zion. The hamburger came out raw and the fries were cold . While management tried to make it up to us by giving us free dessert this is not the level of open table restaurants we have been accostomed to

The menu at the red rock grill is very limited. If you are staying at the lodge as we are there is no other choice except to go into town . The roast chicken and Trout were good but nothing exceptional .

What beautiful views! Such a nice setting, within Zion Lodge. The service was very good, friendly. The menu was limited. The Ceasars salad was ok, basic. The potato salad was commercial made, like you'd find in the grocery aisle.The chicken sandwich was good, with plenty of bacon and accompanied by lettuce etc. The food came out really fast. This is not fine dining, but generally basic meals and fair prices. Way better options in Springdale, but if you don't want to leave the park, it's a fair enough option.

Several years ago I had dinner here out on the beautiful patio. I expected to be able to do the same this year. It was 82 degrees and they had the patio closed. Ridiculous! The inside dining is fine but not charming and a little loud and chilly. Food basic but well prepared. I wouldn’t have come just for the food. We came for the beautiful OUTDOORS experience. Such a disappointment.

Very unhappy with my visit here. We had reservations and expected to be able to Sit in the outside patio we were told it was closed for dinner (not lunch though) and that we could not sit out there. Ok. Then we were walked to our table. The restaurant was almost empty and they tried to sit us away from the windows so we ask if we could sit at one of the open table by the window. My wife wanted to be able to see the deer when they came to eat. We were told no because those tables are not in our servers area. Don’t really understand how that is my issue. We asked to speak to the manager and waited by our table for 5 minutes before it was obvious the manager was not coming to talk to us and we started to leave. No one said anything to us as we started to head back the the hostess and then the managers walked away as we got close. Guess they don’t care much about customer service or their guests. So we left the restaurant and headed outside. We let the hotel front desk people know what just happened. They just confirmed that the restaurant has only gone down hill and they are use to the complaints and waiting for a new management company to take over the restaurant. We will not be back to Red Rock Grill. Also the menu they gave us did not match what was posted on their website. 5 dinner options and none sounded very good. I expect better for the price. I expect a whole lot better because it a National Park. If I could give a negative rating I would.

I had the trout which was good but the mashed potatoes were cold and had no flavor. I understand that they were short staffed but that should be no excuse for cold food.

an excellent option for those staying at the Zion Lodge. Menu is somewhat limited, but that should be expected. Food quality is excellent and the staff very friendly.

This was a great place for a nice meal in Zion National Park. Outstanding food, good prices and pleasant wait staff. A food oasis.

Our waitress was attentive. We had to wait for our table even though we were on time and had reservations. I had noted when making our reservation it was our anniversary yet no one seemed to know or offer anything special. Food was good but not spectacular.
