   Would have given zero stars if it was an option. We were a party of 6 celebrating our daughters graduation from FSU. They sat us down at 3:45 at our reservation time. 30 minutes later we were sitting without any waiter/waitress visiting our table. I approached the bartender and asked if she knew who was suppose to be waiting on us, she said oh let me check and just continued doing what she was doing. I then walked up to the hostess and she had no clue who was supposed to be waiting on us. We eventually just walked out while my daughter had tears in her eyes. Worst experience ever.

   The bartender took for ever to prepare one drink. The mango martinis were half full. They told us they could only sell us Chardonnay by the glass but they had 3 bottles on display on top of the bar counter. So when we brought that to their attention, they decided to sell us the bottle. The food came quickly. Some was great, some not so great. The server was kind and tried to help as much as possible.

   Only good thing about it was waitress. Had an open table reservation and still had to wait over an hour and half.

   Our reservation was at 8 pm, at 9 pm they were telling it would be another 20 minutes until we possibly got seated. At that point we choose to leave. I understand the staff were trying their best, however there should be no reason that you have allowed for so many reservations that you can’t seat them even close to their time.

   Took over an hour to get the food, took 30 minutes for the manager to come to the table, and the waitress had no customer service at all. Honestly, zero stars will not return.

   I rarely post bad reviews, but I feel I need to share my opinion. Others may have a better experience. We have been here twice recently. The first time we waited 45 minutes for a table even though the restaurant was almost empty. Last night we made a reservation thinking it would be faster. We were seated fairly quickly, but our order wasn’t taken for 15 minutes. About 30 minutes later, we had no food, so a manager came by and brought one of our two salads, but it had no dressing and was covered in crumbs as if they poured croutons on it from the bottom of a bag. About 55 minutes into our experience, we got the drink we ordered. After that, we asked about the status of our meal and we were told that our order had not been put in! We got our food about 30 minutes after that after being told something we ordered was not available, and our second choice was not available either. The food we did finally get was great, and the server was apologetic, but even if the kitchen was that backed up we would have appreciated being updated instead of having to ask repeatedly what was going on, and then having to ask twice for a to go box at the end. This is one of my relative’s favorite places, but we agreed that it’s unlikely we can return after these two experiences. I hope the restaurant gets it together because it’s been in Tallahassee for decades and the food was good both times once we finally got to eat.

    It was very busy on Christmas day, and there was a wait, but the food was good and the server was great.
