   Red lobster in Mira Mesa keeps disappointing us every time that we go as a family. The quantity of food is OK and the quality is hit or miss will keep trying !

   It's no wonder that on a Thursday night they were dead. I would go somewhere else if you have a choice. the place was empty. had a reservation but they sat us in the bar, even though I requested a nice booth. Waited long for a server. food came, my entree salad was ok except swimming in the dressing and the other entree was cold, rice under cooked baked potato looked like it was beaten by a baseball batt over cooked, burn't obviously from yesterdays batch... terrible. The server never checked back, had to waver her down for the bill. Terrible experience. Avoid if possible

   For the food: They were out of cod. No fish n chips for my husband. Had no snow crab legs for my son, either. We had to pay extra for a different type of crab and they were out of the garlic butter seasoning for it. I ordered a side of coleslaw and got rice instead. For the service: Like many restaurants we've been to lately, they were overwhelmed and understaffed. Note: it was a holiday and although we had made reservations through open table, they were not honored and we had to wait over an hour for a table. Not my favorite experience. We only go to Red Lobster because of my son's birthday- he loves their snow crab.

   Steven our waiter was OUTSTANDING very attentive!!! On top of his game, never had to ask for anything. He was always two steps ahead!!!! Next time we dine I will certainly ask to be seated in his section!!! We dined there yesterday Sunday, October 30th! See you soon 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

   The waiter we had appeared to be new. He needed to be trained more. Has to ask what liquor did I want in my Manhattan. When he brought the biscuits, he did not bring small plates to put them on. I asked for extra butter for my baked potato but had to ask another server for that and the coleslaw that I had ordered as one of the sides with my meal. Was very disappointed with the service.

   Always reliable. Food was very good. Our server, Tommy was exceptionally nice and attentive. Very pleasant evening.

    Once we we were finally seated (about 20 mins) after our waitlist time, our server was fantastic. Prices have increased but that's happening everywhere so it's understandable. We were a little disappointed that many of the dishes we used to enjoy are no longer on the menu but the items we ordered were tasty and arrived quickly.
