Red Lobster - Palm Desert
Crispy shrimp tossed in a spicy soy-ginger sauce with fresh broccoli, served over rice. Topped with green onions
Available in: Golden-Fried (230 cal), Oven-Broiled (50 cal)
I made a note when I made the reservation that it was my Moms 90th birthday, but nothing was done for it.
Thomas our server was very attentive. He was polite and attentive. Enjoyed my coconut shrimp.very much.
The place to go if you love seafood at reasonable prices. Food tends to come out all at once, so if you want to eat your meal in courses let your server know when ordering.
It has bern our worst Red Lobster dining experience. We were advised when we were seated that the kitchen was behind and there would be a wait for our food. We didn't expect it to take one hour and 15min to get our food. The worst part was that upon getting our food, with the exception of my husband's and sons's steaks, all of our food was cold and flavorless. They comped our undercooked calamari and offered us warm clam chowder which we did not eat. The server was apologetic and stated she thought we were going to leave without waiting for our food. We tipped her nicely as it was not her fault and asked for to-go boxes. Needless to say, I don't think we will be visiting this location again
Was glad that we weren’t rushed when we ate our salad and soup. Clam chowder needs to be hotter when served.
We love Red Lobster--a well decorated calm place.
Excellent service always.
Their biscuits are wonderful
We ordered shrimp scampi, scallops ,yummy mashed potatoes & salad.
Always consistently good!
Lobster was just as good as Fleming’s was last night.
I prefer a booth & that’s what we get!
Nice comfortable atmosphere. Warm & cozy
Terrible food. Nonchalant staff. Poor hostess. Slow service.
the Shrimp sampler was a great value and delicious. We were both very please and very satisfied. Our waitress was exceptional--one of the best ever. she made the evening even better than it would otherwise have been. Keep up the great service, we appreciate it!
Excellent waitress. I think her name was Kristine. Very nice person.
Only get lobster there and always food.
Great food and service! Got seated right away. We like Red Lobster abd love their endless shrimp.
Disappointing experience. When we arrived the guy on the front desk seemed like showing us to a table was too much effort
Our server was very good but the food wasn't as good as normal
No broccoli available again, this was the second time this had been the case. Had the potstickers and the sauce they came covered in was inedible. So disappointed and not handled well
Great for celebration and great seafood
Guarantee a welcome experience.
Food nur mässig
Reservierung über Open table wurde an Rezeption überhaupt nicht registriert und als no Show deklariert; ziemlich ärgerlich
must have been a bad nite - been before and ok - the mgr was working in the kitchen, that is telling
Our server was excellent, and paid attention to our needs throughout the evening. The food was good.
Worst lobster ever had at a Red Lobster. That did not taste like Maine lobster at all. I will have to go all the way to Ontario next time to get decent lobster. Forty dollar wasted.
The last time we were there the service was good, my sangria was great and the food was fresh. I'm sorry, but this time the service was slow, the sangria was pure sugar, I don't think there was any wine in it and the food did not taste fresh. Very disappointed.
Our party of four dined there last Saturday, celebrating Fathers Day. One had the fish & chips, and the rest of us ordered from the appetizer's page. Food was yummy (and the bisquits are to die for!). Only two drawbacks: it took nearly and hour to be served, as the restaurant got very busy soon after we arrived. Also, bartenders need instruction on making a martini!
Sat us in bar area. Server forgot appetizer, but at end offered free dessert, which was nice. Monitor on table tried charging us $1.99 for a game we did not play, as monitor was out of service. Waiter deducted that from bill. Other than that, food was delivered quickly, and was very delicious.
We had not been to Red Lobster in about 20 years and now I recall why. The food is not very good. Thank goodness for the Server, who was delightful.
Our waitress, Marian was very friendly, attentive, and accommodating. We had a coupon for an appetizer
It came out quickly and hot. We shared this and it was very satisfying.
I love this place but I just we got an inexperienced server who probably got overwhelmed with our large party. He got some of our orders wrong and it took him too long to bring drinks and etc. I would recommend this place for its food.
We love Red Lobster but the location in Palm Desert is just not up to par. Some days you get your soup then salad, some days you get your salad then soup, other days you are served both together. Then before you are finished with either your meal arrives. I feel they are wanting you to eat up and get out. Unfortunately I am a slow eater which means I either eat warm salad, cold soup and cold entree. I requested no cheese on my salad, sever wrote my order correctly. What did I get, cheese on my salad. The broccoli and asparagus were over cooked. I have eaten at other locations where the broccolis crisp. Service was average. We had to ask for more water, biscuit and our check. It will be awhile before we go back to this location for a meal.
We were pleasantly surprised with how good our food was because we hadn’t been there for years.
Chef out did himself this week. Excellent preparation.
Service was friendly. The restaurant was comfortable. The food was disappointing.
Out of salmon. Mahi over cooked - dry.
Sole was really flounder and was prepared well, but the butter lemon sauce did not taste of either.
Walking in and seeing right away an empty lobster tank and the place smelling like an old persons home next to a bay on low tide really turned me off about this place. I walked out not wanting to do that to myself!
Food was greasy
Ordered a $31.00 meal with coconut lobster and one of them was burned. Waitress should have noticed before it came to our table. Cook should have noticed first. I shouldn’t have had to call her back and have her take it back and get a properly cooked one.
We were warned by someone when we walked in that we would be waiting a long time because the kitchen was backed up. After being seated, we waited 10 minutes and not a single server was seen ANYWHERE during that time. We left and will never return.
Atrocious food and lackadaisical service. A once-in-a-lifetime experience, believe me.
They use fake butter! We asked if they had drawn or clarified butter (I have allergy to milk protein) and the waitress assured us they did. 1.5 hrs later, our food finally arrives and there’s all this white stuff in our supposed “clarified butter.” Waitress comes back and says that the chef said it’s ok for you to eat, it’s not butter , it’s margarine! Ugh!! Yuck! My son also wanted just a cheese Pizza, but she said all they had were lobster pizzas. She said that they are good so we ordered one for my son who was willing to try it, after it came mind you about 1.5 hours later, of course, he hated it. At that time, she said she can get us a cheese pizza! So I asked her, I thought you said you didn’t have cheese pizzas? Well, it’s just that they’re all pre-made in the back earlier in the day. But I’ll go have them make a cheese! Who’s about another 20-25 Minutes later Pizza still hasn’t arrived. We cancel the order asked for a manager who ended up giving us 20% off our bill, and we ordered a pizza for him for blazes! No more red lobster for me
Shrimp was soft as in "old". Charged regular wine prices while "happy hour" prices were applicable. When questioned, the price was adjusted. We ordered at 4:45 PM and happy hour prices were good til 6:00 PM. Service was "OK" but nothing special.
PERFECT FOR THE SEAFOOD LOVERS AND NON-LOVERS. LUCKILY FOR ME THEY HAVE CHICKEN AND STEAK (SINCE MY HUSBAND AND DAUGHTER DONT LIKE SEAFOOD). BEST BISCUITS IN THE VALLEY. A MUST.
We were seated .... given a menu ... and no waiter ever showed up. Finally we asked a passing waitress with a load of dishes where our waitress was .... she quickly put her dishes aside.
Said, I’m not your waitress but I’ll take your order ...my names Michelle. Wow! Did we get great service. Michelle created a wonderful experience!
service was excellent. Food was not great. I ordered the large fish dish that had lobster, crab, shrimp..Crab was very soggy - difficult to crack shells as they were soft..(probably frozen) lobster did not have flavor - it was also on the soggy side. I have lobster several times in this location - all much better than this ..experience. Crab was the biggest disapointment. One or two good bites - was not even cleaned very well. We usually love Red Lobster - Service was truly excellent.
