The food was really nice, I can’t fault them. The service was not up to the standard though. We had booked for 2pm and they did not appear to be ready to receive guests. We got our drinks after our food. The table was not cleared in a timely manner which is not great with seafood. We had already paid and then on our way out , the amount was questioned. Drinks are overpriced. Once they’ve worked on their service all around, it would be great place to go back to.

Well decorated restaurant and I cannot fault it. There were some flies on the window but it is summer time. We ordered the lobster seafood boil with Cajun sauce. The Cajun sauce was delicious and so were the side garlic and chilli sauce. The octopus salad was good but the octopus would have been better if cooked a little less. Unfortunately the lobster boil was disappointing. For about £135 the lobster and prawns should have been fresher. The chef said that the lobster and some prawns were mushy because they are frozen. This is not a valid excuse in my opinion. We left a whole lobster due to the mushy flesh. They did give 10% off. The waiting staff was very inexperienced but polite. Overall food quality was substandard. With the 10% discount it was £185 for two adults and two children. We were there from 7.30 to 9.45pm on Friday and we were the only customers that whole time. They seem to have capacity for 100 guests so it’s odd that we were the only customers on a Friday but not surprised considering the poor quality of the food.

I reserved the table for Saturday evening through opentable as a belated mother’s day treat. When we got there, it felt like a nightclub with loud music blasting, it looked like some sort of a party. I showed my email confirmation from opentable to the man at the door (probably a manager) who just said they are fully booked over the weekend and that they’ve told opentable to not accept any more bookings. We were turned away and had to find somewhere else. It seems very unprofessional that they have an option for booking via opentable on their goggle page yet they are not synchronising their booking availability. It definitely put us off from going there again.

I had a lovely experience at the restaurant. While the service was a bit slow, likely due to the busy Valentine's Day crowd, I can appreciate the circumstances. Unfortunately, my table was left with dirty plates for longer than expected, and I had to ask for the dessert menu a couple of times. After not receiving any follow-up, I eventually gave up on ordering a dessert. On the positive side, the food was delicious, and I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary glass of prosecco from the house! The evening was enhanced by a wonderful atmosphere, featuring an oriental dancer and a fantastic singer, which made the night truly special. Overall, despite the service hiccups, I enjoyed my time and would definitely return for another visit. Thank you for a memorable evening!
