Red Lobster - Kansas City - Barry Road
I always love Red Lobster but I have noticed the prices keep going up. Lobster is becoming hard to afford. I did like that you have the new add on baked lobster but it is really the langostinos and not REAL lobster. Maybe if it were real lobster that would help a little bit. I know these decisions are made by corporate and not by each individual store. These are just our opinions. We also have a brother in AL that chooses not to go to Red Lobster anymore because he feels they have gotten to be too high priced.

Took my 90 year old friend out for late Christmas lunch. We enjoyed it all ... out time together, the prompt and courteous server, and the meal. And since we were there early, it was quiet enough that we could hear each other talk! Very pleasant experience all around.
We had a very nice celebration 🍾🍾🎁🎉🍰🍰🎁for my birthday and our server was very good!
Biggest complaint is no matter how empty the restaurant is, or whether or not you put your name in ahead of time, you always have to wait for a table. What is the idea behind making a small group (2-4 people) consistently wait 10+ minutes for a table in a 75% empty restaurant? Do they not want anyone to come in, or do they just not value my time at all? Really makes you think twice about patronizing this restaurant.
The only criticism I have is that the prices are a little high. Especially if you want to have a lobster tail or too, it is almost unafordable. That's it.
To start our experience, we were sat at a round table for 5 when our group was 2 people with a waiting area packed with families waiting for a table. When we asked to sit at one of the smaller tables, so a larger group could be accommodated sooner, the server we had was highly upset. We asked about the advertised special from the website and were told that it would not be available. No sooner had we ordered and a table near us was allowed to order the advertised special that we had wished to order. When we received our food we were given a broken knife and no claw crusher to eat our food with. We had to wait 10 minutes and 5 minutes for each of those items. Our server walked by occasionally but did not stop to check on the quality of food or whether we correctly received what we ordered. The steak had be improperly cooked and was inedible. He suddenly became away of our displeasure after our card was ran.
