Inside, our pub has everything you could wish for in a traditional village local, including freshly prepared food, a fine selection of cask ales, open wood burning fires, traditional flagstone flooring and wooden beams, and extensive wine list. We also have a private function room that can cater for anywhere between 10 and 40 guests. Our outdoor seating areas are peaceful and relaxing, and you have a choice of seating, either overlooking the village green, where you can watch the world go by, or in our own colourful pub garden and patio area.

Under yet another manager , but at least the chefs are still producing characteristically Red Lion excellent food choice . Now in our 6th year as regulars , it remains our “pub of choice”

Lovely food and friendly staff but the service was very slow. We waited over an hour for food once ordered and it wasn’t that busy. No apologies from the staff that it took so long

Overall the experience was okay. The service was extremely slow, took 45 mins to serve the mains after the starters. They didn’t take the main plates away before dessert. And the chicken burger I had was very dry and lacked in flavour. Saw the reviews and h was looking forward to it. But proved a disappointment
