   We attended Dim Sum Night at the Red Horse. Our reservation was for 7pm. The Dim Sum buffet was set up outside. It was Cold and hard. I was probably good at 5pm but not by 7pm . They had apparently not refreshed it. The warmers were not keeping up with the cold evening. Definitely not worth it! This was a special Dim Sum night and it was very disappointing. The service was good but not the food.

   I added salmon to my salad and it was dry but everything else was perfect.

   Wine value is great and why we come back!! Our server was fantastic. The Ribeye was pretty good, with some tougher rubbery fat that ideally would be easier to chew. Nocci was fantastic. Filet was awesome.

   Our dining experience was great. One guest thought the house Pinot was too robust for a Pinot so ordered another wine. No problems with the exchange or the new wine offered. She's a Pinot connoisseur of sorts...formerly in the wine business. I have feedback about the happy hour at the new pub which (we did not visit last night) but want to share feedback. Request that happy hoursoffer a limited menu, or appetizers. Terrific meal & service last night. And can I elect Star from the court house to receive Employee of the Month? She is always FANTASTIC!!!

   Congrats to the staff who gave us so much attention and service: Starts with the hostesses always accommodating and friendly as they seat us. Sergio always checks in, Billy who chooses great wines, and Fernando for exceptional food service always. And Andy and his staff for producing fantastic food and menus . We appreciate the staff always listening--Thank you. The Abramos think that this is the BEST and better than any restaurant in Danville! We love our club.

    Excellent food and service. Diablo dining is continuing to improve and may be the best dining experience in the Danville area. Now it just needs a better wine list. Billy (F&B exec) is doing a great job!
