Enjoyed our meal at Red Feather, beet and chick peas were excellent. My husband enjoyed his burger and shared calamari. Chuck was our Server, he was excellent. Overall excellent meal.

I had the wagyu flatiron and my son had the paperadell and both were amazing. The service and the ambiance were excellent as well. Excellent value for the quality of the food and the overall experience. This is easily one Boise's best restaurants.

The food was good, if a bit overpriced. The service left a lot to be desired. We were brought receipts to sign, but the message on the receipt stated it was declined as there was no IT server available. We waited for our server to come back so we could inform her, but she never did. Eventually I went to the bartender for assistance and she got the manager. We were lucky to have cash to pay the bill as they kept getting the same message. The food was good. The experience, not so much.

The coffee mug had red lipstick on it, my food was not only wrong but the waitress forgot my side dish. The table was wobbly and the waitress refused to help us fix the table. The waitress was unapologetic throughout and basically ignored us.

Excellent service and food! From the moment we walked in to the moment we left the staff provided excellent service. We had the chicken pate, duck breast, pasta with crab, chocolate tarte, and lemon meringue, and everything was well prepared and flavorful. I felt like I was getting to experience the cooking that I see on my food shows and left feeling very satisfied.

This is our 3rd time dining at Red Feather in the past month. Every bite, all 3 times, was delicious. We loved the halibut, tomato and burrata salad, the melted cheese and flatbread. Wholesome food, outdoors with the Boise downtown vibe. We will be back.

Our evening began with our wait person telling us that we had to order all our courses together to facilitate the prompt turnover of our table. The drink menu was overly fussy. Our appetizers were fine but our main courses were pretty but kind of tasteless. The halibut and accompanying potato cake were dry, the duck was very drab. The best thing we ate was the strawberry sorbet. We asked to have the loud music turned down a tad and were told by our wait person that she did not have control over that. We couldn't hear each other talk. The chairs at our high table were uncomfortable, everything felt cramped. Overall, we paid a premium price for a mediocre meal. We used to love Red Feather, went there often and were glad to introduce it to our friends. But now, we will no longer be going back. We were kind of embarrassed to have had an out of town international guest in our party. We felt we had to apologize for choosing Red Feather. In truth, it was the only reservation we could get on a busy Saturday evening in the summer. Now I know why we could get in. Every restaurant has to cope with busy times and pressures but for some reason, Red Feather is no longer up to the task of providing comfortable, commodious, generous, fine dining. Too bad. Sorry to see it go. We will go where we are welcomed guests for relaxed delicious dining.

The food both honored what you hoped for and brought in unique touches. Very enjoyable. We also appreciated how the server was attentive and informative. That level of service seems to be waning in many restaurants so it was appreciated by our group.

Jess was our server and she was fabulous. Very attentive and super helpful to our entire party and experience. I had the Rancheros Verde and the Verde Bloody Mary and both were outstanding! Highly recommend everything about this wonderful restaurant and experience!
