   Went for the first time from reviews. The service was fantastic which is rare to find and the restaurant was beautiful but the food was pretentious and not good. My husbands burger came out raw and we had to send back , your Julie’s chicken is confusing and not good, (more like a salad) tried the nachos and terrible. Bar tender did great. Overall the food failed big time especially when I paid $110 that night

   Very disappointed in the Wedge Salad ! Hardly any dressing / bacon / onion / etc. Just a wedge of lettice for the most part. Had the server bring me dressing / bacon to help make it edible ... My wife's chicken was very good and she enjoyed it.

We took this review to heart and made sure that we used it as a training process to give to our culinary team. We have daily food calendar routine that gets sent out to all 6locations for recipe adherence that gets featured and be uniformed in all 6 stores. Because we failed you with the wedge salad, our upper leadership actually chose the wedge salad to be focused on yesterday. Again thank you for your feedback and the visit.

   I have ate at Red Door Woodfired Grill many times in Kansas. Unfortunately, I did not receive the same level of service and food quality at the Lee’s Summit location. The food was subpar and the service needs major help. Our food was repeatedly delivered to the wrong table. After our group finally received all our food one of the burgers was way undercooked when it was ordered well done. Disappointed we spent a birthday dinner here. Hopefully they can improve over time.

   We have family visiting from out of town and absolutely had to have some of the pretzels and beignets (oh - and dinner LOL). Our waitress, Maddie, was incredibly attentive and quick to grab our every need. We actually felt bad at how many times she had to go up and down the stairs for us.

    So, bought a gift card at Christmas, because I would receive an additional $25 gift card. Used it last night for their $5 burger Monday. Burgers were delish, but did not get the remainder of the gift card. Was told any balance could not be used. So if this was the case, you need to disclose this at time of purchase, or at the very lease, state it on the gift card.

    Great brunch. Be helpful to add to open table seating preference with the understanding that at busy time it will not always be possible. Upstairs first floor or outside when weather permits.

    Everything from the appetizers to dessert was fabulous. The drinks were strong but tasty. Prime Rib eggrolls are a must and the pretzel bites with cheese sauce didn't last. My boys had perfectly cooked steaks with crispy fires. The fish and chips were perfectly battered. The cookie skillet was delicious as were the pecan pie and beignets. Even busy the staff doesn't rush you to finish and makes the overall experience fantastic.

    This was my second time there. First time was great. This time, I made reservations a day ahead. We asked if we minded going upstairs, no problem. The girl sat us right next to stairs when there were two empty tables further down. When I mentioned moving to one of those, she curtly told me "No, that's a reservation." I replied, "So are we." She ignored me and walked away. Oh, well, no problem. Our service girl was excellent, so nothing bad to say about her. The food came to the couple that we were with. It was at least five minutes before it was realized that my husband and I were still waiting for our food. They should have at least came out close together. The couple we were with wouldn't start eating, even thought we told them to go ahead. The couple we were with, his mashed potatoes were under the lamp and hard on top. My chicken was overcooked. Otherwise, it was fine. I'll go again, it won't stop me, but I was a bit disappointed in the girl at the front, as well as the waiting on our meals, the chicken and the mashed potatoes. They had never been, and I wanted it to be great. The chocolate dessert, however, was delish.

    My wife ordered a well done burger. It came out RAW !! She ordered sweet potato fries and got regular fries. My chicken enchiladas were cold We have eaten there a lot. May be a while before we go back 😢

    Our waitress had 2 large parties and we had to wait a long time to order and to get our food. If we needed something, we had to flag her down. The sweet potato fries were hard as a rock and cold.

    Love Red Door, this location is still working through "new restaurant" bugs. Waiting area isn't large enough and you can't get in the door. Parking is horrible. Server in bar area wasn't super attentive. Burger was dry and overcooked. Bartenders are great and very interactive with guests sitting at the bar. Have gone three times now and they still need to up their game, the other Red Doors are much better than the Lee's Summit location. Not sure I would recommend this location just yet, hopefully they will get it figured out soon. In the meantime, I will continue to got to Brookside or Leawood locations.

    Very busy place before 6 on a Saturday. Blaring march madness and commercials on ceiling speakers throughout the restaurant. Not just in the areas with TVs. Impossible to have normal conversation with table partner. Asked that it be turned down to no effect. Up-charge for sw potato fries and half the portion of partner's french fries. Food wasn't good enough for a return soon, especially during rush periods. No faults to the serving staff.

    I followed the recommendations from other reviews and ordered the prime rib special - weekends only. My first bite was like an explosion of flavor in my mouth! I ended up sharing with my husband, daughter and son-in-law. The hummus was the most flavorful hummus we have ever ordered. In the past we have had the fried chicken served only on Thursday-it was delicious.

    Service was good; however not as clean as I would have liked. Booth seat had food on it from the previous diners. The girl who seated us was apologetic and cleaned it off, but there was also food on the floor. Menu was sticky. Specials card was sticky. Trash overflowing the bathroom and it needed swept. Just kind of....ick.

    Our waitress was great! Food was good too. It is a very noisy restaurant. If you like that you will love Red Door. If not, you will not enjoy the environment during busy times. Maybe try an “off time.”

    It was burger night for $5.00. Nothing came with it but could get fries for $2.00. My medium burger came out medium rare. Sent it back and they were going to charge again for a burger, though the 1st one was not cooked right. Manager corrected that waitress very nice but not a good waitress. I was not impressed they do a great business, but the burger had no flavor. I will not hurry back.

    Hello, it was terrible this was our first time there with our family. Seating was quick but after that all was down hill from there. Server didn’t know what was going on she never came back she just sent the manager over. I waited over 30 min for my food only to find out they did not even have what I order. ( pasta) then I went to order something else off the menu and was told they were out of that as well. Then I ordered some wings they came out wayyyy too fast and were NOT DONE So I never got to eat and neither did my son. Manager asked if I just wanted to take them home and cook them up a bit more that was the wrong thing to say

    Waitress was very sweet but we did have an issue getting our drinks refilled . She was very easy to find and got the refills quick so overall not bad . 4 out of 5 of us liked our meals . My personal order was incorrect , onions were left on when I request them off. Otherwise, as always the food was good and I was glad I was one of the 1 of the 5 that liked my meal , prime rib French dip!! The 1 the didn't like their meal was still very impressed with it's side, the French fries. I would suggested this restaurant. They weren't perfect... but come on no one is :) fabulous menu even for children! You can make reservations so no waiting in the entry ! Decor and design is unique ! Will return as I still want to try their jalapeños fried chicken and the Woodfield wings !

    I love the staff. All good and friendly. But today our 6:00pm reservation got seated at 6:10pm. Then ordered immediately at 6:10 and didn’t get our food until 7:20pm. We got an order of sweet potato fries for free during our wait. They said one of the cook didn’t come in. Apparently there was no backup plan and the manager Maria had to cook.
