Had a get together with the boys. Great place, great service, solid food. Only complaint would be the portion size of the fried chicken and waffle was tiny (tiny drumstick/thigh piece) and 2 waffles. Not very filling for guys but luckily we got other food as well. All in all, worth going to if you're in the area and want a brunch place that's not overcrowded, but not worth going out of the way for (long driving distance). Also the orange mimosa is definitely better than the pineapple mimosa. Bottomless mimosas are $14, or $7 for a glass.

The location is easy access and lots of parking, relaxed comfortable outdoor patio, the food was delicious and reasonably priced. We will return.

Came across a review on a San Diego blog about Red Card Cafe and since we live only about 10 minutes away, I had to try it out. Was NOT disappointed! My sister and I went and shared the shrimp ceviche. We are picky about ceviche and this was fantastic! Super flavor, drenched in lime juice and cilantro. I got the Cobb salad and it seems simple, but it was probably the best salad I've ever ordered at a restaurant. Their homemade buttermilk Chipotle salad dressing was what brought it all together for me, but they had the perfect amount of every ingredient so that you actually got everything in each bite. My sister got the jerk chicken sandwich and it was incredible! A huge piece of grilled pineapple with slaw and goat cheese... Not expected, but it worked so well together. The second time we went, we got the ceviche again and I got the salad again (I become a creature of habit when I find something I like at a restaurant), but my sister went for the TJ dogs and the Mexican corn. She absolutely loved both. The corn was sweet and fresh, but perfectly slathered with the requisite toppings. The hot dogs were so unique, but delicious and filling! I've loved Red Card so much, I took my husband for brunch! We realized just before leaving for brunch that we actually had things we had to do today, otherwise we were going to do the bottomless mimosas. We did one each anyway and I got the fried chicken and waffles. The chicken was not as salty as one would usually find, but I realized that worked well being served with syrupy waffles. My husband got the chorizo scramble and wolfed it down. He said it was like a Benedict and hash combined. The apples surprised him, but they were a great addition. All in all, we love Red Card! A gem in little Bay Ho with an awesome beers-on-tap menu that is not to be missed.

We had heard good things and wanted to try them out. Must be better for lunch because dinner was weird. Hardly anyone was there and it was situated in a business park type of area. Food was just so-so.

What a gem! The food was fantastic and the space was very cool! The jerk chicken sandwich and the Southwest Cobb chicken salad were perfect and the shrimp ceviche did not disappoint. We went for a week day lunch, but I can't wait to return for brunch.

We got the fish and chips and spaghetti and burrata. Both were really yummy, but there was about 7 bites of spaghetti. I have never seen such a small serving! And for $15!!! I'm a small woman, and I was still starving when I left. We turned to each other as we left and said, ok great...so what are we going to make for dinner when we get home? We literally made a second meal upon our return home.

Great service and great food!! It's a little hidden, but so worth the search for it. The red velvet waffle is insane!!
