   All and all an OK experience..a bit pricey and the wine list can use some help. Very nice setting though.

   Food was bland and nothing to write home about . My husband got the filet mignon and ordered it medium, it came out well done. Waiter asked about it but never offered to have another filet recooked or anything. Very pricey for below average meals. Will never go back or recommend.

   Nice prefix ! Loved the mussels. Pasta dish lacked flavor.

   Overall experience was good but with some hiccups. The waiter didn't seem to be able to get our friends cocktail correct. Same with the dinner, she ordered the salmon without the glaze and it came cooked with the glaze and had to be sent back. Our other friend has the Osso Bucco and rated it fair. My wife had the fish special which she raved about and I had the lamb chops which were great. The flourless chocolate cake dessert was excellent. Would definitely give it another visit.

   My wife and I live in Southampton and go to Red Bar every year around this time, per her request, to celebrate her birthday. We have been doing this every year for about 20 years now and it never gets old. The food is always creative and delicious, the service top notch, and the ambiance low key romantic. This has attracted us to this place since it opened. We prefer dining there during the week when the room is a little less noisy, but otherwise a great place for a special occasion.

   Food was very good except for bread which was stale and tasteless. However, the level of noise was almost unbearable. Also we were at a table for 2 that was way too small. Service was very good and pleasant. The noise though killed the meal, unfortunately. We have been here many times before and never noticed it quite so bad. Sitting in the little back room is better but there was a private party there last night.

   Very disappointed as after an hour we had only eaten bread. Service was very slow, for food and drinks. On the plus side we made friends with the table next to us as we laughed about the poor service.
