Vibrant atmosphere. Good choice of old world wines and interesting cocktails. We ordered the popular crisp garlic bread, octopus plancha and ricotta stuffed squash blossoms. Each was uniquely tasty. The imperfect Negroni and Cucumber flavored tequila were also bright and perfect complements to the starters. For dinner we ordered small sizes of freshly made spaghetti and gnocchi. Tummy. We split the veal ossobuco. Can’t say enough how humongous and delicious the shank was. Fall off the bone. The saffron risotto was creamy as ever. For dessert we shared a hot apple crostata. Again yummy. Overall, a great dining experience. Lived up to its reputation.

Our first time to dine at Red Ash. We will be back. The people were very friendly and very helpful in selecting some great dishes. The food, dinner and dessert, were fantastic. Great wine selection. The ambiance was comfortable. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Other than the pasta needing a pinch of salt, everything was delicious. The apple crostata was outstanding. Service was really great and the attention given was great. It made my bday celebration that much more special.

Food was great and service was excellent! We sat at the bar by the kitchen and it made our decision on food so difficult! Everything looked amazing, would definitely go back again!

This place was so incredibly wonderful it makes me doubt the Michelin system altogether. This place doesn’t have a star? I’ve been to a few of the Austin starred spots, and Red Ash blows them away. Best meal I’ve had in some time.
