   We went out of our comfort zone and tried the steak tartare which was a revelation with amazing textures and flavour, served with thin dried toasts - an excellent combination. The dishes that followed were all equally sensational, ending on the high note of the fig with ice cream and jelly pops of oloroso. The service was attentive and helpful. We have no hesitation in recommending Rebel Rebel.

   Service was great. The steak was sensational as was the tartare. Definitely best tartare I’ve had. The two sides we ordered were wayyyyy too salty. They were inedible because of this which was a shame. Still an enjoyable dinner.

   Honestly, I was very disappointed with Rebel Rebel which had come highly recommended. I had chosen Rebel Rebel for 2 reasons, one being my birthday and two my son and his partner had flown down from Brisbane. I found the menu very limited for choice and frankly our picks, the zucchini, pork chops and fish were all underwhelming. I normally don't write reviews, I just don't go back, but on this occasion I feel like I need to express my disappointment which should have been a beautiful celebration. The night ended up with us eating cheese, dip and biscuits in the hotel room.

   Only have four stars in order to give the food five. Love this restaurant, in every way, but food particularly is exceptional and actually value should have been five stars. Love that you can eat across broad hours. Will definitely return sooner rather than later.

    We had an extremely enjoyable evening. This was predominantly due to the outstanding service provided by Morvan, as well as the well-prepared dishes. Our only complaint - the online menu was not up to date and the one dish we desperately wanted to try was no longer on offer - a small issue as everything else was so delicious. Highly recommend Rebel Rebel for the food, service and ambience.

    My Mum was visiting from interstate for my birthday and we had the best dinner at Rebel Rebel! We’re still talking about it a week later. The service was outstanding and she went over and above to cater for food allergies, even giving us alternate ingredient options for each dish if we wanted. Such beautiful food and such a nice place.

    A great find with fabulous staff, incredible food and a wonderful wine list of new wines to try. The food really was exceptional and the friendly knowledgeable staff made the night a memorable one. I would highly recommend Rebel Rebel to anyone who comes to or lives in Canberra , it really is worth it!

    Would highly recommend Rebel Rebel to anyone looking for an intimate but lively dinner experiences. The wait staff are exception and know a lot about the food and wine on offer. The food is outstanding, I couldn't fault anything. While it is expensive the portions you get are comparable to the price you pay, as is the quality. The wine list is extensive and the wait staff are there to run you through different options depending on your meal and preferences.
