   First time visiting Bistro Europa. Sat outside. Beautiful setting surrounded by the vineyard. Friendly service. Lovely menu. Wines were good. Food service was slow, but we were not in a hurry. Overall a great dinner and experience!

   Our meals at Rayson were fine, but could have been better. The sauce with the mussels needed more seasoning, for example. The Pasta Bolognese was terrific, with a lot of well prepared meat sauce. Service definitely needed improvement. Our water glasses were never refilled. One of our guests ordered two salads, one as a starter and another as her main course. The first salad was forgotten, and then was not delivered until all the table’s main courses were served, giving her two main dishes. Additionally, we were two couples celebrating our anniversaries. This was mentioned in our reservation. But there was no acknowledgement of this. We don’t expect anything extra, but if a restaurant is going to ask if it is a special occasion, then the server should be aware and at least offer a congratulations. Otherwise, why ask?

   The meal was outstanding. Our server was excellent. We love the veranda but on this particular visit the noise level was off the charts. Several large groups were LOUD.

   The Cabernet Sauvignon was excellent. The wait staff was very personal, courteous and friendly. The food, Ceasar salad with salmon was good and so was the shrimp tacos. It was a little noisy and difficult to hear and understand others talking. Definitely recommend to others and will be returning in the future.
