   We loved Ravello! Best newest fine dining restaurant on this side of town. The servers were very friendly and took care of our needs respectfully. The staff made accommodation for our party of 12. The cooks were a little behind in preparing our dinner but we did have a large party. The food was excellent and so was the ambience. We had a wonderful time. Ravello will be one of the most popular restaurants in our area and hard to book so, book early. I give it 5 stars. Thank you Ravello for making accommodations for our party and we all agreed that we will be booking again in the future.

   Wonderful people run this place. Excellent kitchen staff. Small neighborhood place. Surprise spectacular appetizer last night was a bruschetta with foie gras,arugula & aged balsamic. A simple selection of wines at reasonable prices. I think they should offer a few additional choices without going to the reserve list. Love Ravello!

   We were there on a Wednesday night, so it was very quiet with few diners. Too bad, because the food, service, ambiance and staff were wonderful!

   We all enjoyed our lunch today at Ravello’s. We were greeted promptly, suggestions were made for appetizers and our mains were served timely. We will come back

   So excited to have this authentic Italian restaurant in the neighborhood. The food was delicious and very fresh. Service was perfect as well. Great menu and wine selection.

   The food was just warm . I ordered a panini and the bread was a little burned . I might not return . The service was excellent . The pesto was very oily.

   We had a great first experience at Ravello. The live music is pretty loud given the hard floors and no sound materials on the ceiling but not unbearable. All the food was excellent. Don’t miss out on the Focaccia bread! Meatballs were authentic and the gnocci with short ribs was great. Bar is well stocked, plenty of choices for any taste.

   Great meal, again. Thanks to Joshua and team for well-paced service. Seemed extra busy due to VTO patrons, but Ravello is a well-orchestrated machine, and handled the crowd efficiently. Diver scallops were tasty. Cocktails amazing. Cappuccino topped off a great meal.

    Ravello Italian Cuisine is one of the newer additions to the San Antonio dining scene, and while it still has room to grow, it’s showing some early promise—especially in a few standout areas. The ambience is clean and simple, and the service was friendly, though there were a few moments that could use a bit more polish, which is to be expected for a relatively new restaurant. The menu offers a familiar lineup of Italian classics, but there wasn’t anything that truly set it apart or made the overall experience feel extraordinary. That said, the calamari deserves a special mention—it was easily the highlight of the meal. Perfectly crispy, well-seasoned, and served with a flavorful dipping sauce, it was clear that extra care went into that dish. If you’re stopping by, it’s definitely worth ordering. All in all, Ravello has the bones of a solid neighborhood Italian spot. With some refinement in execution and perhaps a few more creative twists on the menu, it has the potential to elevate the overall experience. For now, it’s a decent place for a casual night out—especially if you’re craving good calamari.
