   Where to begin. This place has been open for about 6 months. Come in and experience this overpriced and subpar dining establishment because I guarantee you this place won’t be here in 12 months. 1. The drinks were heavy on the syrup. They were not mixed well. 2. The food was overpriced for the quality. This is NOT gourmet or even steakhouse quality. Texas Roadhouse and Olive Garden puts this place to shame. Novice and lazy kitchen brigade cutting corners and producing poor quality products. Room temperature oysters the size of an avocado. The texture of the oysters were unpleasant. It was like biting into a heavily used racquetball. NY strip ordered medium rare and it was served well-done. They tried again and it was charred black on the outside and rare in the middle. This tells me they cook their steaks frozen on the grill. The duck was sad and well overcooked. The duck looked like a cadaver served on a plate. 3. Environment. This restaurant is small, intimate. They had a kid playing his acoustic and electric guitar in the middle of this crowded establishment. It was obnoxiously loud and bizarre. Poorly managed restaurant. If you read the other comments, this feedback is on par with what others have complained about. This restaurant is suffering from an identity crisis. 4. Waiting staff. Very nice and pleasant but did not know the menu or the drinks. 5. Acknowledgement. They removed the oysters and drink from our bill. We appreciate that. We paid and left the standard gratuity for our bill. The grilled octopus was great.

   A Disappointing Culinary Experience Made reservations for Mother’s Day brunch. Looking at menu they had both a brunch menu and a lunch menu. I called to confirm they were serving both that day which they said yes to both. It’s a fairly new restaurant so we were looking to try them out and looking forward to trying some of their pasta dishes. Imagine our surprise when we arrived that they had set up a buffet. Some breakfast items, a couple of pasta items and some oysters and shrimp. Additionally, they had the standard roast beef and ham station. Not sure how often they do buffets but all three of the proteins, chicken piccata, roast beef and ham were way overcooked and dry. They didn’t even have chocolates of any type on the desert counter. And they failed to mention that it was $50 a person not including a mimosa or anything. I made a note in my reservation that I was in a wheelchair and after checking in they had to scramble to find us a suitable table which was back next to the buffet line. The service was good, they made every attempt to make it enjoyable, but when a table of 20 showed up (which took over half of their seating area) things really got bogged down. They had a piano player set up next to the buffet line which made it difficult to hold a conversation. If it had been more in the background would have been nice. Drinks were very overpriced so all in all it was a big disappointment. It is a bit out of the way from where we live so do not imagine we will be back.

   Our experience there was disappointing. The food was buffet style and not very good. A holiday. The service was not very good. The room was noisy and the music although pleasant was too loud. The price was way too high for the quality of the experience.

   We loved Ravello! Best newest fine dining restaurant on this side of town. The servers were very friendly and took care of our needs respectfully. The staff made accommodation for our party of 12. The cooks were a little behind in preparing our dinner but we did have a large party. The food was excellent and so was the ambience. We had a wonderful time. Ravello will be one of the most popular restaurants in our area and hard to book so, book early. I give it 5 stars. Thank you Ravello for making accommodations for our party and we all agreed that we will be booking again in the future.

    Wonderful people run this place. Excellent kitchen staff. Small neighborhood place. Surprise spectacular appetizer last night was a bruschetta with foie gras,arugula & aged balsamic. A simple selection of wines at reasonable prices. I think they should offer a few additional choices without going to the reserve list. Love Ravello!
