   It has been several years since we have been to Richmond, but we looked forward to visiting one of our favorite restaurants and Rappahannock did not disappoint. The Branzino was one of the best fish dishes we have ever eaten ( and we eat fish 2-3 times a week!). The whole fish was topped attractively with fresh peas, sugar peas, cucumber and tahini yogurt sauce. It was not only beautiful, but done to perfection. All of the oysters offered ( sting ray, old salty and Rappahannock) were excellent. The scallops and wedge salad were very good as well. Alas we were too full for dessert. Our waitress, Ray, was helpful, delightful, there when we needed her to be but not intrusive. In our opinion this is the best restaurant in Richmond.

   Too pricey for what you get and too cold, fans blasting on a moderate day.

   Our first time there and it did not disappoint. Drinks were excellent and food was to die for. Noise level was higher than I expected, however my wife and I were able to carry a conversation easily. Service was prompt and friendly. Will definitely come back for more oysters.

   We enjoyed our co-birthday dinner celebration at Rappahannock. We usually attend a different location for this tradition, but decided to give this spot a go. We had a wonderful time and the food was amazing.

   We enjoyed our dinner at Rappahannock. Service was attentive and friendly. Our server, Ray, was very engaging and she regularly checked back to see if we desired anything. We enjoyed octopus, ceviche, and the seafood gumbo. Everything was fresh and delicious. We had reservations for 6:30 on a Saturday, just before it became busy, but Ray was always at hand.

   Easy to make reservation via OpenTable, exceptional service, & excellent food. We had the Rappahannock oysters to start, then pan seared rock fish, & scallops. The oysters were tasty & not a grain of sand or grit (which is tough to do when it comes to oysters). The rock fish was prepared just right & didn't have a "fishy" taste. The scallops, like the oysters, didn't have any grit & tasted great. The only area for improvement, is that the tables are a bit too close together for my preference. I highly recommend Rappahannock, especially before a show at the Carpenter Center - which is why we were there.

   Great food - ceviche, mushroom risotto, scallops - all yummy. S’mores dessert also yummy. We had a nice seat at the front window. Happy hour crowd just steps away at the bar got increasingly louder as the evening went on, unfortunately, which made conversation challenging at times. Otherwise, a nice meal with good service.

   The food was absolutely stellar! Oysters [Insert a Chef's Kiss Here]. I got the Pork Chop, and my Fiancee got the Scallops - both prepared Perfectly. Our waitress, Katie, was absolutely phenomenal as well. We can't wait to come back again very soon!

    Delicious meal! Good service and food came out quickly. Sat us at the perfect table since I mentioned we needed something stroller friendly. Will be back again soon!
