Everything we had was delicious. We will go back every time we visit the City.
Tremendous find. Good, service and ambiance all excellent.
Awesome experience with Alex! A bit loud at first from the bar crowd but phenomenal experience
Service and food were fine. Staff was very friendly.
Michael our server was knowledgeable and hospitable.
Very good food, especially their small plates: baked clams, snapper tartare, and smoked fish dip with homemade saltines. They were all spot on.
The pan seared local fish entree was excellent and well prepared, although I found the heritage rice a little too crunchy for my taste, which is apparently how it's supposed to be.
Chocolate budino for dessert was a pleasant ending. Service was attentive but not overbearing.
Outstanding experience, set at the bar , Alex was superb. Very knowledgeable and helpful concerning menu and make wonderful suggestions for drinks I had a French 75, perfectly balanced. Of course great food makes a good restaurant- a great restaurant has a lot to do with the staff. Alex made our experience GREAT
Bake clams yummy small, crab cake specialty not on the menu all blue crab no filler, baked imperial scallops beautifully cook. Their advertising is VERY true. Only the freshest of seafood. Black garlic Shrimp and grits was delightful. The earthiness of the black garlic paired with the grit. Delightful for the taste buds!
Great value, good decor, easy parking, one of my go to oyster spots in town!
Wonderful experience. Alex treated us superbly, food was excellent and ambiance was great.
The oysters and the fish dishes were awesome. Highly recommend!
Sat at bar. Bartender friendly and engaging. Oysters were great, as well as crab cake and mussels. Enjoyable evening!
Excellent food and cocktails! So glad we visited!
We visited the location in DC earlier this summer, and were so excited to find that there was a Charleston location too! It did not disappoint! Our server, Michael, was amazing and so attentive. We had oysters and bar snacks during happy hour, and all the food was great. Try the fish bites! We will be back!
If you are looking for a good seafood restaurant in Charleston you can’t go wrong here! Excellent service and delicious food. I had the flounder Milanese that was ever so lightly breaded and served with a grilled lemon and green salad. The delicate taste of the flounder was not overcome by the crisp coating and topped off by the enhanced taste of the grilled lemon. The greens were topped with a lite vinagrette with the thinnest of zest of a lemon. All in all a perfect lunch. And the size was definitely a dinner offering. Perfect.
My friend was pleased with her scallops
In a creamy sauce and the ideal luncheon size.
We enjoyed our lunch at Rappahannock Oyster Bar. The sauces provided with the raw oysters were delicious and the kid’s grilled cheese and fries was a surprisingly generous portion and very tasty - my son scarfed it down. The service was excellent.
This restaurant is probably more suited for tourist not locals!
Excellent. Manager Alex is wonderful. We enjoyed the evening!!!
Amazing food and excellent service!
One of the best crab crabs I’ve ever had. Oysters were excellent. Wife had curry shrimp which was also great. Good service, nice atmosphere, fabulous experience.
wonderful! best oysters and mussels in charleston!
Great service, excellent food, cool environment, and can be fairly cheap if you play your cards right!
Excellent table. Excellent service. Excellent food. The whole grilled snapper was awesome, along with the ceviche. Oysters great as well. Nicely done!
The waiter was knowledgeable about menu items and made excellent recommendations.
Sever was great! Food was great and fresh! Drinks great too!
Our server was very knowledgeable about all the items on the menu. She was super efficient, as well as the person that suggested a totally delish sparkling wine for our caviar and oyster feast!!
Great food and great service! The oysters and flounder were excellent!
I love this place, but last night the service was very very slow. It took us almost 25 minutes to get a drink and our wine.
The server brought a ginger ale twice that was only seltzer - he did apologize but I guess the gun was not working. They were out of one of the oysters we ordered and the ones we ordered did not taste a bit briny so I think they just gave us what they had and not the Old Salts we ordered. The fish Milanese was amazing and so was the shrimp and grits. We will go back but I do hope the service is better next time.
Dianes menu knowledge led us to great choices. The oysters and presentation were on point and the crabcake was the best we ever had!
Very accommodating, they let us sit at an outside table, because one of the members of our party has vision problems. They were very busy, but the waiter was very helpful. Next time I am in Charleston I will deft have it on my list of favorites.
Amazing staff, superior consistent food, great space, stunning bar and PARKING! It’s our “Cheers”. Dontt miss it
great place for oysters! mussels were delicious as was the caviar and homemade chips. would definitely go back
A really nice restaurant. Service was good. We definitely recommend the oysters. Only (small) downside was that it was further from downtown/historic district than we thought. Not really walking distance.
Menu was good. I ordered the shrimp and grits and it was unique and delicious!
Drop off of college student
Always love this place!
a great spot. Wonderful oysters. Chef Kevin is amazing. our go to place.
Good food. Expensive. Music far too loud.
Went here for my boyfriends birthday last night. We had reservations and it was pretty nice out so we sat outside. It was ONE HOUR between the time I ordered my wine and the time that I received it. One hour i waited for my very first drink. Waiter profusely apologized but didn’t have any solutions for us. When asked about it, our server told us to go yell at the bartender LOL…
3/10 things ordered did not show up
2/10 things were cold
0 were worth the wait
Waiter made it known that he was not thrilled splitting the checks so each couple could get their own. There were 3 couples. When I got my bill back, my credit card did not make it back. The waiter suggested I somehow lost it and asked me 10x if I’m sure that I didn’t have it. He then found it randomly “by the bar”. These are the highlights. Worst experience in Charleston so far. Been here for 8 years.
Food and service were great! Outside dining experience could have been a little bit better. Next time we will eat inside!
