Wonderful food and ambience. Pisco sour was well prepared. Our server was prompt and very professional. This is our favourite restaurant when we visit Ottawa. Can highly recommend

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at Raphael. The staff was friendly and efficient. Also, we like that the restaurant felt quite roomy as they do not try to fit too many tables into the floor space. The pisco sours were excellent, as were the dishes we ordered (squid, anticuchos, and the scallops with rice). Flavourful and well-presented. We are definitely going to go back and try more of their menu.

We were greeted by our very friendly and knowledgeable server “Raphaël” who provided us with very detailed descriptions of each dish that he recommended. We made a meal of several of the tapas/small plate selections and each one was delicious, inventive and beautifully presented - featuring squid, seviche, crab, scallop and mushroom dishes. There happened to be a private event in one half of the restaurant that night, so we benefitted from the fact that they had a live band playing, which provided a fun background to what was a lovely and delicious meal. We recommend Raphaël Peruvian Cuisine very highly. You won’t regret it.

From the moment we arrived our experience was fantastic. The staff were pleasant, welcoming, and very knowledgeable. The ambience was thoughtfully curated from the collection of organic plants, the perfect setting of the lights, to the comfortable chairs and the subtle luxurious design details throughout. The food was undeniably exceptional and beautifully presented. We left feeling well taken care of and appreciated. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

I’ve eaten here several times and it was wonderful but this time it missed the mark. My scallops were bland and were on a base of something that had a strong fish flavour. I couldn’t finish it. The service was non existent. I think the server was overloaded. We had to get the hostess to ask for wine and clear our dishes. Not a good evening.
