We are excited to welcome you to Rania, DC's hottest destination for modern Indian food. Tom Sietsema has called our food "some of the most inspired Indian cooking in DC." At Rania, we offer homage to the time-honored traditions, rich flavors, and spices of India in an intimate, luxurious setting. We look forward to sharing our vision with you!

Presenting sophisticated, highly acclaimed 4-course prix-fixe menu, with an upcoming debut of our chef's tasting menu.

Policies:
-Dress Code: Smart Business Casual. No shorts, athletic wear, or baseball caps are allowed.
-Children under 10 are not allowed in the main dining areas.
-Reservations are available for parties of up to 6 people.
- A non-refundable deposit of $30 per person is required for parties larger than 5.
-A 20% gratuity will be added to all parties 5 or more.

Note: Due to the unique nature of our cuisine, we are unable to accommodate Vegan diets, allergies to allium, lactose-dairy allergies, nightshade, cumin, and coriander.     Rania's 4-course ($90) pre-fixe menu experience, with the option to add wine pairings and cocktails as desired. Available Tuesdays thru Saturdays. Note: Due to the unique nature of our cuisine, we are unable to accommodate allergies to allium, nightshade, cumin, and coriander. However, we are pleased to inform you that we can cater to vegan diets and other dietary restrictions if notified beforehand. We take pride in our ability to provide a quality dining experience to our patrons and appreciate your understanding.

    Wonderful food that felt Indian but also reflected the chef’s background as a student of many cuisines. Each course was flavorful and unique. I was hesitant about Rania but it over delivered and I look forward to a return visit. V minor request for Champagne by the glass.

    We went to celebrate a birthday and had a fantastic time. We had the 4 course meal and it was delightful. Will definitely visit again. The staff was so warm and friendly, Edwin who took care of us was amazing. All of them were.

    Food was not good at all there was hair in my food. They send us a free desert for that incident. But even the taste of the food was not good it was cold and portions for a lunch menu was very tiny.

    One of the finest meals I've ever had! The vegetarian tasting menu was carefully planned, the service was fantastic, and the wines were well paired. This goes on my repeat list for sure.

    Had a wonderful dining experience at Rania l! The service was fantastic — warm and attentive — and the food was a true delight. They even celebrated my birthday with a personalized letter and photo, making the night even more special. Truly memorable!
