We are excited to welcome you to Rania, DC's hottest destination for modern Indian food. Tom Sietsema has called our food "some of the most inspired Indian cooking in DC." At Rania, we offer homage to the time-honored traditions, rich flavors, and spices of India in an intimate, luxurious setting. We look forward to sharing our vision with you!

Presenting sophisticated, highly acclaimed 4-course prix-fixe menu, with an upcoming debut of our chef's tasting menu.

Policies:
-Dress Code: Smart Business Casual. No shorts, athletic wear, or baseball caps are allowed.
-Children under 10 are not allowed in the main dining areas.
-Reservations are available for parties of up to 6 people.
- A non-refundable deposit of $30 per person is required for parties larger than 5.
-A 20% gratuity will be added to all parties 5 or more.

Note: Due to the unique nature of our cuisine, we are unable to accommodate Vegan diets, allergies to allium, lactose-dairy allergies, nightshade, cumin, and coriander. However, we are pleased to inform you that we can cater to vegan diets and other dietary restrictions if notified beforehand. One of the finest meals I've ever had! The vegetarian tasting menu was carefully planned, the service was fantastic, and the wines were well paired. This goes on my repeat list for sure.

Had a wonderful dining experience at Rania l! The service was fantastic — warm and attentive — and the food was a true delight. They even celebrated my birthday with a personalized letter and photo, making the night even more special. Truly memorable!

Had one of the best experiences. Amazing service, Great Ambience, amazing food and presentation. Definitely dine at Rania! This place should be a must to experience when in Washington DC

Food and service were excellent however the experience would have been better if we were at a table and not a booth. With six people at a booth the servers could not reach far enough to properly serve our food, clean the table etc.

Overall the experience was good - they offer prix fix menu- My entree - Parsi chicken was little underwhelming - should have gone with the lamb shank or fish The restaurant ( no fault of theirs) was virtually empty - this was Thursday night Worrisome for DC restaurants

Lovely atmosphere, lovely, attentive, and professional staff, and absolutely scrumptious food. Highly recommend. What a unique and enjoyable experience.

Took my parents to Rania for their late anniversary dinner and it was amazing. We picked to do 7 course dinner, the food was spectacular! Every course had their own unique taste, flavor profile and authenticity. The service was great, very attentive staffs. Overall, we had a great experience in Rania.
