We are excited to welcome you to Rania, DC's hottest destination for modern Indian food. Tom Sietsema has called our food "some of the most inspired Indian cooking in DC." At Rania, we offer homage to the time-honored traditions, rich flavors, and spices of India in an intimate, luxurious setting. We look forward to sharing our vision with you!

Presenting sophisticated, highly acclaimed 4-course prix-fixe menu, with an upcoming debut of our chef's tasting menu.

Policies:
-Dress Code: Smart Business Casual. No shorts, athletic wear, or baseball caps are allowed.
-Children under 10 are not allowed in the main dining areas.
-Reservations are available for parties of up to 6 people.
- A non-refundable deposit of $30 per person is required for parties larger than 5.
-A 20% gratuity will be added to all parties 5 or more.

Rania was an excellent experience. Food was delicious and culturally-faithful while allowing for gastro interpretation. The cocktails and wine pairing were fantastic. We were celebrating a friend group anniversary and they took us seriously and helped commemorate it with a special dessert, instant photos, and cards. My one comment is that the full-vegan set menu is only 4 dishes compared to the meat and vegetarian menu’s 7-courses. So our vegan friend could only wait. It would be appreciated to unify the number of dishes across all the tasting menus so all diners can enjoy a similar experience. Would go back

The food and cocktails were great. Great service from the waiter and the bussers were knowledgeable and helpful. Can’t wait to return on our next DC trip.

The best dining experience we had at this restaurant. Amazing food, service, ambience and overall dining experience. Drinks were great and very well presented I would highly recommend this true Michelin Star restaurant

First off my wife was blown away by the experience here, the food, service and atmosphere. And I concur. I would say only two things stick out in an otherwise perfect meal. One I got a cooked oyster dish that was way too salty. The next is, I was served my "Taj Mahal" beer before my wife got her cocktail. That brought the festiveness down a notch. Otherwise Rania is a treat to be hold.

Rania is a favorite of my wife and I. We've gone three times now and it's always an amazing experience. The service is impeccable, the food exquisite, the ambiance and presentation immaculate. At the very reasonable $90 price point it's among the best values in Michelin dining.

Fabulous food, with good pacing between courses. Every dish was rich in flavor and color! Great presentation. Unique combinations. Service was excellent! One of the best meals we’ve had in a longtime. Will go back.
