First time there and can’t wait to go back. Sat outside so can’t really eat the ambiance of the place as I only saw inside of restaurant for a couple minutes when I signed. Food was delicious.
The food and service was very good overall. I ordered the flounder francaise and it wasn’t great, It definitely needed salt. Everything is well was really good.
Great place to take family and friends.
My fiance and I took my mother-in- law there for Mother's Day.
Can't wait to go again!
I ordered the chicken florentine. The food here is always fresh and the quality of poultry is supreme. My mother said the veal was delicious also!
Our daughter was turning 13 and has been asking to go to Ralph’s, so we made reservations for the big day. We’ve been here at least 4 or 5 times years ago and the food and service was always outstanding. This time we felt that everything was a bit “off”. I’m not sure if, now that capacity is opening up, they were short staffed, but the service was just ok and the food was good but nothing we would rave about. On the plus side my daughter enjoyed her spaghetti and meatballs. The other dishes chicken parm (which is usually fabulous) and eggplant were mediocre. With it being a special day, we would have typically ordered dessert- but decided to finish elsewhere. Most reviews for Ralph’s are very favorable and based on past experiences I would have agreed with those assessments. But if this had been my first time dining here, I would most likely not be a repeat customer.
Ralphs was amazing as usual! Great care was taken to provide for safe dining experience, service was exceptional & the food, outstanding! Has been & will continue to be our favorite Italian restaurant in Philly. Thank you service staff & chefs!
The service is terrific. Friendly and efficient. The food is fresh and delicious. They even have valet parking!
Very good Italian food, it is the longest continuous restaurant in the United States.
Excellent food with great service and a great location.. parking can be tricky but it's worth it.
We were impressed with the Covid compliance of the staff and are happy that the food was the same!
Good fun meal, some great Italian food - recommend people checking this place out
Server was great and food was delicious as always.
First time diner - food was very delicious and fresh. Would recommend to others!
My dad always asks to go to Ralph’s when he visits his hometown from Florida. The eggplant paramagiana and lasagna are always top notch. We also treated ourselves to dessert and they were so delicious and authentic flavors. We were lucky enough to have a beautiful spring day to eat outside and as the sun went down the servers put on the patio heater and that was more than enough to keep us cozy. Thank you!
Outstanding and Delicious! Will definitely be back.
Went to Ralph’s after a bunch of recommendations and was not disappointed. The small Italian restaurant was perfect for a little date night. I have never experienced such great staff, they even helped us find a parking spot nearby. The food and wine were amazing as well! We will definitely be back to this cozy family owned spot!
Last night (4/11/21) my wife, son, and I went to Ralph’s for the first time. We didn’t have a reservation because it was so last minute of a decision, but the hostess was unbelievable and was able to squeeze us in so we could eat real which. The experience from the service was not only incredible all around but the food was amazing. We will 100% be back very soon because of the service alone. The pasta was homemade and had nothing but fresh ingredients. This small restaurant blows any high end Italian restaurant away with the quality of the food and the way every staff member treated us like family and a Sunday dinner at home.
First time here. Honest good old school joint. Nothing fancy about it and food was very good
We made a 5:30 reservation several weeks ago to celebrate a special birthday. Upon arrival we were told because we look young, we will be seated upstairs. A compliment I guess considering we are in our 50s. We walked up to the second floor, a spacious dining room with plenty of seating, but then we were asked to go up another flight of stairs to the third floor. The third floor had three stained glass windows, but it was humid, and musty. I’m sure this isn’t where Frank Sinatra and other notables dined. It brought me back to childhood days and being assigned to the kids table. We were just happy to be together and excited to try their famous food. Unfortunately we waited 15 minutes for a glass of water, and even longer for the second glass. We were sweating and hungry and trying hard not to let it damper the special occasion. Our meals were good, large portions, probably would have been better if they were delivered warm. The waiters were friendly but it seems they didn’t like coming up to the hot, empty third floor either, and I can understand why. Next time we will insist on being seated in the main dining room with the other adults.
Fantastic food, great experience. Not fancy, but in a good way. Everything on the menu is incredible. Best Italian in Philly, hands down.
Awesome all the way around!
What a nice, nostalgic place. They are Covid friendly. A very clean establishment. The staff is very friendly and accommodating!! The food was good, slightly cold, and not outstanding as I had hoped for.
We enjoyed our food and the history in the restaurant. The crown molding and flooring gives you the old world feel.
Delicious Italian served by some of the nicest waitstaff.
We enjoyed a fantastic meal at Ralphs. The servers are very pleasant and the food is always impeccable.
First time there. My son move into the area and he really wanted to try it. It delivered as promised everything from long hots to parm dinners was fantastic. Wait staff was on top of everything. We will be back.
Best Italian I’ve ever had. Had meatball app, 3 entrees, 1 old fashioned and a full carafe of house cab, 1 cannoli and 1 chocolate cake. $126 before tip. Whaaaaat? You can’t beat it. Service was splendid. Love it love it love it. I go every time I’m in the city without question.
Everything from the drinks to our meals were phenomenal! Our waiter was great as well!
We had an amazing dinner at Ralph. The food, the service and the view were everything we had hoped for!!!
Best Italian food in Philly! Service, price and quality is second to none!
Always such incredible food, and a very pleasant staff. So glad to see so many happy diners like us enjoying this mainstay of Philly!
Veal Parm was good.. remainder of the meal was not memorable..clams casino were -premade (frozen) and came out in individual foil tins that looked like a clam. Caesar Salad made with
When you want the best traditional Italian mean, Ralph's is the best. Period. Veal parm is the best I ever had. Veal picante is my wife's favorite. She tries that meal at many restaurants and nothing approaches Ralph's. Period.
Great food as always at Ralph's. This is the first time there since the PHE. They've done a good job at spacing tables for everyone's safety. We always enjoy eating there.
service is amazing!! So attentive! Mussels in red outstanding. Chicken florentine best ever and chicken parm need I say more!!
We were seated at two different tables due to the COVID-19 restrictions. Lucky for us, the entire upstairs floor was empty so we were able to eat in private. Everyone really enjoyed their meal. The music was fantastic and the service was wonderful. Thank you!
They went out of their way to accommodate us.
The food and service were tops. Best Italian food in Philly.
