Ralph's Italian Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
We rendezvoused with old friends and family. Ralph's is such a special place. Not only is the food fantastic but the atmosphere is so warm and friendly. We celebrated another diner's birthday song that was seated in the same room as our party of 8. It was so much fun, we were invited to share the cake, and both parties sang "Fly Eagles Fly". The food and service was wonderful one of my favorite places to dine.
A Lyft driver recommended Ralph’s to us and told us the history of the restaurant. I’m originally from Chicago, and I know good Italian food, so I’m always willing to see what a good Italian restaurant has to offer. I was not disappointed. The location was quaint, and the food was excellent
This was our first time dining at Ralph’s.
We felt our server was a bit short with us and we felt a bit rushed even though the restaurant was not crowded and people were not standing around waiting for tables. Also, at the table next to us one of the employees was filling shakers with parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes; we found that a bit odd since we were in the dinning room and still dinning.
We enjoyed the food and overall had a nice time with our friends at Ralph’s.
Received a Groupon from a friend that had to be used within 4 days, made a reservation very easily for the next day. I really didn't know how the food would be and I actually didn't know that much about the place so we were so happy that everything was awesome there!
We arrived early, they sat us right away; the dinning room is cozy, maybe a little tight, a little loud, but it's got a great vibe to it. It's very much like going to a big Sunday dinner for me. The server took our orders right away; we both got wine and I ordered the veal Saltimbocca (pictured), my partner ordered a gorgonzola pasta with pine nuts and pesto. Both dishes were amazingly delicious and the perfect portion. The veal was tender and cooked to perfection, their tomato sauce isn't my favorite but it's still very good (my meal had a side of pasta and sauce).
After our meals we ordered a piece of tiramisu; it was more like a tiramisu cake but still delicious.
We definitely would go back for another meal, we had such a good experience.
Everything was average. I was expecting more but read reviews. The reviews were up and down, like the dining experience.
Go here just to say that you've gone to a historical legend of a restaurant.
Bruschetta- Avg... It's build your own. 4 pieces of bread drizzled with balsamic with finely chopped tomato and mozzarella in the center.
Eggplant parm-Not so great. Eggplant was not fried well. There was no crisp to it at all. Eggplant was soggy. The grp next to me you ordered veal parmesan and I heard the gentleman cut into the crispy batter so I know it's possible but they skipped it on mine. I've had better delivery eggplant parm.
Expresso--- Served lukewarm in a full sized coffee mug. No explanation is needed.
Go here. Read the story on the place. Get a drink and order delivery.
It is an assembly line of both food and customers. They get you in and out so quick that the service has no time to introduce themselves, offer their own recommendations or even ask how they’re customers are doing. The food is good. The sauces are delicious. But the entire pace of the dining area leaves you feeling rushed. Virtually no ambiance at all.
Service was good, a bit over priced for the quality.
My son ordered the Veal parm very disappointed it is one of their specialty items very large portion but he said wouldn't recommend it,I tasted it I agreed way to much breading and the veal was paper thin its a shame because the sauce was very good. Also it was my Mothers 90th birthday usually a restaurant will bring out some sorta dessert not a big deal I was surprised they didn't
This gathering was a group of people who cook, no good food, and wanted to be in a family environment. The food was spot on, we had five different appetizers and they were outstanding. The main entrées were to die for. Following authentic Italian recipes that even Impressed the most cynical of the chefs in our group. Everyone was very pleased with the meal
I’ve traveled to Italy , I’m an Italian American and I know what Italian food should taste like. And Ralph’s is as good as homemade. I mean real homemade. I don’t now them and I don’t usually post a review. So what’s that tell you... I’ll. be back soon , that’s the best compliment. Carlo Morelli
