It's hard to decide what was worse, the service or the food. Our server was a young woman who gave us attitude and had no finesse with placing or arranging the dishes on the table. Attitude, really?? This was a celebratory birthday meal. We started with a lobster signature maki roll that was so overloaded with ingredients it was really hard to eat. We ordered a simple, classic maki - tasteless. Pieces of smoked salmon - mediocre. We even tried a tempura combination that was awful - tasteless, over battered and the you couldn't bite into the asparagus. I have never left a bad review but I feel compelled to speak. This was how unpleasant the entire experience was. The evening, however, was not a bust. We went to Bistro Campagne afterwards for a delicious dessert in their beautiful outdoor patio and laughed about our terrible meal at Raisu.

We came for our anniversary and did the 15 course menu which was absolutely worth it! Each course had a unique flavour and the server ensured to tell us the details of each one, which all tasted delicious. We will definitely be coming back!

Great place to come for nigiris and sashimis, not makis. We came early for dinner so the service was fast. I was very disappointed with sushi rice being not seasoned and underdone. They weren’t fully cooked through so we ate our sushi and makis a bit raw, literally everything raw. For me, rice is incredibly important for sushi and when you can’t get your rice close to perfect, no quality of ‘melt in your mouth fish’ can makeup for it. Everything else was very good! Must try their Hotate, Uni and spicy tuna roll (one of the few places that uses chili oil instead of spicy mayo).
