Food wasn’t the best.
The entire staff was extremely attentive. Their combined efforts made our experience memorable. I tried it because of it being part of restaurant week...worth going again!
Great atmosphere but the food wasn’t all that. Over seasoned, over cooked. Drinks were decent. However great place to hang out to with friends around the fire!
Wonderful atmosphere and great ambience. You are only allowed to sit for 90minutes but once we ordered more drinks they didn’t bother as much! Great for an after work spot and would definitely come again. Tad bit pricey
I had a wonderful 1st time experience and i will visit again if im in chicago
Fun- the atmosphere is very nice
Quite a good place. The view is outstanding! Food and drinks very well made. And the service is flawless. Out first time in Chicago and we’re glad we chose to dinner at this place.
The comment on service isn’t about our Server- the customer service of the manager of the establishment and hostess are what is in question. We arrived and two tables that arrived after us were seated first- one of which was a friend of the manager- Emmanuel Hunter.
Not only did he give his friends our table but he also was very rude to us. Our last visit for sure.
I made a reservation for a roof top table in March in Chicago and when we arrived they said we had a table with no heater. Really???
We booked a reservation for outdoor patio seating. When we arrived they tried to seat us in a cramped greenhouse that didn’t even have enough tables to seat our party of five. When we said we had booked an outdoor patio table and not one of the greenhouses (that require a food and bev min), we were told it’s all the same. We asked to move to a different greenhouse with a bigger table but it was still stuffy and cramped - not at all the outdoor, open air dining experience we planned for. Eventually one of the few outdoor seating areas opened up and the manager offered to move us there. It was much more comfortable and had a nice view of the river. The only problem was it was sofa and fire table seating which would make dining a challenge. We decided to go ahead and take it. The atmosphere outdoors was nice and the drinks we ordered were good. But when we told our server that we intended to order dinner and just needed a couple more minutes, he never returned nor did we see him again. He finally came back to announce that our 90 minute reservation would soon be over and we needed to finish up. We explained that we never had a chance to actually order our dinner and without apology said he would talk to the manager. He returned and said the manager was giving him a “hard no” and said maybe we would have better luck if we tried talking to him. When the manager arrived, we explained the situation and were told that the best he could do was give us 30 more minutes. But he couldn’t promise that he would be able to get our food out in time for us to actually eat it. Then he said we could move indoors if we wanted to. We declined and asked for our bill, saying we would go dine somewhere else. He offered no apology, no complimentary anything. We spent nearly $200 and 2 hours and didn’t even have dinner. We were polite, not rowdy, a professional crowd. It was baffling. The manager insisted he had a bunch of reservations waiting. As we left there were 3 ppl at the host stand.
We were seated at the most hidden table in the back they could give us, we were given water and dipped before the server could come get our order. Glad there was a chick-fil-a nearby
Was a great experience. I loved the vibes. We went at night so it was a bit cold but I would definitely go again!
Good food and views, crappy service
Service was absolutely horrible the server Felipe ignored us and then rushed us through ordering the host who I think was the manager also was way nicer and helped us way more than our server and then the bill comes with an automatic 20% service charge so now I’m realizing why he was so brash he knew he was going to get his tip from us either way. The food would have been good but it was brought out between warm and cold temp. Wouldn’t recommend to friends definitely would not go back myself
Super quiet and chill bar/restaurant! The energy is very zen and calm perfect for a light dinner after a busy day in the city. Servers were so kind and polite and the service was very quick!
Cute area, we sat outside around a fire pit. Drinks were good but very small and not cheap. It’s not really a rooftop since it’s only on the third floor
The drinks are amazing and the view is unbeatable. A little bit pricey and the food has limited portions. Overall, this is a great drink spot!
We had an extra guest to a party of 6. The place was packed. They fit us in a party room last second! Super accommodating. The views outside were outstanding!
Drinks were way too strong and expensive. The food was okay, not really any flavor. I had the Mac and cheese, wings, and sliders.
Raised bar had excellent service, stellar drinks, and a great overall vibe. A great spot to cocktails and apps.
Rooftop sight is great. The host of the night was actually very helpful. He was able to accommodate us to a table inside, although we had it reserved for outdoors. I just would probably not come back. Server took long to attend our table, forgot our requests, had no sense of urgency to attend to our needs. Food was not all great and overpriced. Drinks were ok. They even gave themselves a service charge. Only go if you want to sip a beer while looking out at the city.
This place is a great environment to have dinner or drinks with friends! The ambiance of the place was nice. The drinks were amazing, and our waiter was very informative and friendly!
Exceptional service as always! The best cocktails in the City!
Came here for our Valentine’s Day dinner and the man who was the general MANAGER was extremely rude to me and my boyfriend. We got sat down in this back area (no one else was there) We asked if we could switch over to another table (the place was half empty first of all) and he said no & our time would be cut in half if we sat there. He had a horrible attitude and semi ruined the night.
The WAITER is the one who saved the night. He was so kind and professional. Brought us out some Champaign and had a wonderful attitude. Ricardo is his name.
We had cocktails and chocolate chip cookies and it was a sublime way to wrap up our Anniversary celebration. Our server was wonderful and we had seats overlooking the river. Overall a wonderful experience.
Great food, great drinks, a bit pricey but overall worth it. Great service. We went on a day that was super cold so we couldn’t go out to the patio which was the reason why we went. But overall great place to have food and drinks while In Chicago.
Great drinks. Amazing brussel sprouts appetizer. Legendary burger. So glad we visited!
The industrial vibe and city views is beautiful get the charcuterie board it is delicious
Keeping in mind this is during COVID....the food was terrible and it was $55 for a salad, hamburger pattie and fries. There was no wine available. I guess we were lucky to get food during COVID while we stayed at the hotel. We won’t be going back.
Great service, beautiful from wall to wall, amazing brussel sprouts and mussels, and cocktails, of course.
Picturesque rooftop views, cozy fire pits, and creative craft cocktails.
Instead of telling my party of 2 they are closing,
Was close and we made a reservation
Louis was such a great waiter, very friendly and provided great service. Overall wonderful experience, the ambience was so fun, highly recommend!
Greenhouses should have heat, waiter was very nice.
Horrible service. Was there for my friend’s 21st and waiter did not care or take the birthday girl’s allergy seriously after we reminded him many times she had celiac disease. Manager spoke to us and also couldn’t care less and an automatic 20% tip was added when that was the worst service we all had ever received. Ended up being $400+ and we were all still hungry after and my friend got sick from the food since they did not make sure it was gluten free. Recommend going anywhere else
Cozy outdoor rooftop with option of pods (by reservation) or fire pits. Nice city views. Only 1 waiter for the whole rooftop so you'll need to have patience if it's crowded. There were only 4 tables occupied when we were there so it was fine but if it's a weekend I would hope they would have more.
