our server was awesome
So fun! Love coming here! Nothing in DFW like it.
Food took a little longer than usual, but server was very good and steak was cooked perfectly
The atmosphere is very color and fun, however the food is just ok. Fair food selections on menu if you have seafood allergies. The staff was very friendly and service was great. Love the ambiance and the store for shopping
Not much vegetarian choices, too expensive, service was slow
You pay more for ambiance then quality of food, although the food is good. It is a great place for children as they certainly don't get bored taking in the rainforest.
Celebrate my son’s bday more for environment since I know food isn’t as good. I’ve been a few times in past and every dish I’ve tried has been bad - only good food we’ve eaten was queso and chips.
It’s very loud which would had been okay if it was nature or rainforest sounds but it’s pop songs like a dance club which is weird.
All the food is overpriced and if it was good food I wouldn’t had minded paying but for the taste it’s a total rip-off and I’m a Landry’s member so very disappointing.
We took my grandkids for my grandaughter's 5th birthday and they had a blast! The 2yr old was a little scaird but all three ate all of their food and the waitress was so nice and fun with them! They all sang for her and gave her a beautiful complimentary cupcake with a candle! I would highly recommend this place for families with young kids and definately for birthdays!
We had a reservation for my son's birthday for 6:45. We were seated promptly but the service was incredibly slow. An hour later and we still hadn't received our food and it was close to closing time at the restaurant. When the food arrived it wasn't very good and hardly anyone at the table ate anything. We've been to Rainforest Cafe before and had good experiences, but this was very disappointing, especially to our birthday boy.
We went to this place to celebrate my son’s 4th bday and he(and all our guess) loved it and really enjoyed ourselves. We will definitely come again, but just as a family next time. Our waiter was beyond sweet and very professional!
Food was not great and it was very expensive. The experience was fun but definitely will not go back.
We took our son out to celebrate winning a family fitness challenge. It was so fun, he had a wonderful time!
Food was borderline inedible, I knew it would be over priced which was fine, service was ok and ambiance was great. Kids really had a good time I will just eat before or after if we do decide to ever go back.
The staff was very friendly, accommodating and we enjoyed the Rainforest theme!
First time at Rainforrest Cafe. Interesting experience, less of a show than I expected but still a lot of fun. Food was very good and our server was excellent.
Great service! Great set up with Animal props and a great setting! Service was great and very friendly and informative!
Took my 3.5 year old niece here for the first time and she had a blast! The thunder storm started as soon as we sat down and she loved looking for the shooting stars. Our waiter, Justin, was fantastic and we never had an empty cup. He even sent us home with to go cups if we wanted.
Only negative of this experience was the mandarin oranges, they were in all of the entree's that we ordered (China Coast Salad and Mongolian Chicken) but they had started to ferment and were almost fizzy they were so bad.
Other than that, we had a wonderful time and my niece keeps asking when we will go back to the restaurant with animals in it :)
A fun place to go see the animatronics and feel like you're eating in a jungle. The food was not very good, especially at their prices. It was a fun, novel place to go to once.
It just takes a long time to get your food over an hour so be patient. The food is okay but not impressed.
Our kids really enjoyed it, such a fun experience! They were engaged the whole time we were there!!
We made reservations and had to wait longer than anyone else to be seated. Then once seated we had ordered our drinks had to wait 20 minutes to order our food and after 45 minutes at our table our food came out and everything was cold Buns on burgers were hard shrimp wasn't even warm my kids Macaroni tasted like it had been cooked days before serving.
My family and I have been coming here for several years for birthdays and have always had a very pleasant experience.
The food was total waste. The steak was dry, and was like chewing a rubber.
The old oil smell on the food. The chef must do something about his food. I can cook better then him.
We took our kiddos as a surprise before back to school. Every one had a great time. Great food. Great experience.
Made a reservation for a Thursday night- when we got there, many open tables. Our server was prompt in greeting us and getting our drinks, then our order. She assured us that our appetizer (cheese sticks) would be out any second. Probably a good 10 min after, they arrived via a food runner, in a large bowl- there were 6 of us at the table, so we asked for some small plates to share the appetizer. The runner said ok, and dashed off, never to be seen again. We waited a few minutes to get the attention of anyone else who could help, there was no one around. Ended up eating it anyway. Then waited at least another 20 -25 min for our food. It was as expected for this restaurant- the food is not the main attraction there. When we were leaving, the gate to the front of the restaurant was mostly closed, which seemed a little odd, but I guess things are closing earlier these days. All in all, a bit disappointing for the price tag that comes along with it.
My only complaint is they seemed to be under staffed, so it took over an hour to get our food. It was not from lack of hustling, everyone was working at top speed. Just to busy of a place, for to few of workers.
It was cool and exciting place to have a family dinner. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed with good food and service!
The bathrooms were dirty.
The food was good however the portion for the price we paid was too small.
The restaurant was very hot, most of my older guest were sweating 😥
Service was slow, did not see our server enough. Food took nearly an hour to get to our table for a four top. Food was okay. Not terrible, not fabulous but considering the prices you are paying it would be great if it was higher quality. Big portions though. I would recommend eating here at least once to say you've done it and experienced dining here but that's about it. The kids like the decor and environment and when the restaurant has a "rainstorm." DEFINITELY make an online reservation. They are not seating the restaurant at full capacity due to Covid so there are less seating options. Most people in line when we were checking in for our reservation were being told it was an hour wait.
Service was great in the beginning but very abrupt in the end.
Food was plentiful but not great for the price.
This was our first time and the animals and rain storm were nice. Our server was pleasant, but overall the service was slow. It took 25 minutes to get our drinks (one coke, one tea & 3 kid milks). I would not return, this is a place to go once for the experience and never return.
Rainforest Cafe is such a fun place, but the service is lacking. We were a party of 3, and it took us an hour to get our food after ordering. We had to ask for our drinks to be refilled. Very poor service. Food quality is low for the price you pay. This was our second time at Rainforest cafe and probably our last. Our first experience was disappointing as well, but we wanted to give it a second chance.
The restaurant feels dated but the food is good.
The restaurant is great for what it is - a fun place for kids to enjoy the electronically animated animals and the simulated thunderstorms! The service was good, and the kids had fun. The food was okay but overpriced. Of course, you have to walk the kids through the gift shop to check in for your table so be prepared to drop some $$$ on your way out. Still - the kids enjoyed it so it was a win.
Loved our waitress!
the food was great and so was our server. He was very friendly! fun place.
Family Vacation dinner
Took 4 kids just for a fun day at the mall ending with dinner at Rainforest Cafe. Food was great, service was good, and kids and adults enjoyed the ambiance!
My husband got really sick after eating the lemon chicken sandwich
