   At request of grandkids, went for lunch. Long wait bug forgivable due to observed low staffing. Front desk women unfriendly, seemed miserable. Waitress tried hard, lots of guests it seemed. She was very nice and stretched thin. Food extremely mediocre.

   The food was cold and tasteless. The nachos had almost no meat on them. The waitress was a little slow but seemed busy. The carpet had food all over it under the table and the bathrooms were dirty. This place seems to have gone downhill. We used to love it, but may not return to this location.

   We celebrated our daughter’s birthday with a first time trip to the rainforest cafe!! It was such an awesome experience for her and we will be visiting again soon!!!

   We took 6 grandkids and their parents to Rainforest Cafe. We had a reservation. Part of our party was late and they did hold the reservation until they all got there. Positives, kids loved that we were seated next to a large aquarium, they enjoyed the animals and decor, kids menu prices were quite reasonable with many choices, Adult burgers were great, they had gluten free buns, song and cupcakes for our birthday kids:) Only negatives were the long wait for orders, getting our food and for the bill. I attribute that to them probably being short staffed. Our server did a great job. Overall everyone enjoyed the experience and will certainly go back again.

    Overall the experience was great, my daughter loved her first time there. The food was just ok, nothing to really rave about. We will be back for the atmosphere alone.

    This is my second visit lately and the food is hot which is great but the burger is bland. My daughter agreed. My first time, I had fish and chips and the fish had no taste and there was so much batter. I will not return unless I’m dining with children ordering off the kids menu.

    We waited 10-15 mins for waitress to even come by...we were just sitting there. When I brought this up to the hostess she didn't seem bothered at all. Food was expensive and not worth the money but my 3 year old loved the animals so that made it worth it.

    Food was terrible, service was slow even though it was hardly busy. We had asked to be sat close to animals so our kids could see and we got sat way in the back even though multiple tables closer were open. Won’t be returning.

    I always keep going for the ambiance. It’s the touch of Disney in Michigan, but every time we go the service gets worse and worse. We drive HOURS to go to this restaurant, and recommend it to everyone. But now we have to warn people about the service, either you get a quick snap back at you waitress who seems already annoyed that you showed up. Or you get the nice sounding waitress that you will only see once, and will never see on the floor again. So if you don’t order your food all at once or want refills or any condiments at all you are SOL, because she don’t even bring you your food to even ask for anything else. She is literally gone until she comes back an hour and a half later with the bill, and you still don’t have a meal for one person, no condiments for the kids, and no refills so you had to walk to the bar. Then had to wait another 45mins for just a burger.

    Although being sat in a section with no server, and having to wait an extended period of time for someone to come by - and then having to ask - we enjoyed our visit as always. When we asked a server who was responsible for our table, and she discovered we didn’t have one, although it wasn’t convenient for her, she told us on. She mentioned it to her manager and he came over to talk to us and apologize. The level of service we received was excellent. The food is always excellent and the kids always love visiting. Even with this hiccup we recommend highly. What started as a 3/5 quickly became a 5/5. Thank you GLC location!

    Love the China Island salad. It should come with a piece of Focaccia bread like it used to at this price. Diet Coke is really good at this location.

    We celebrated our daughter’s 8th birthday. The ambiance was fun for the kids. The food overall was very disappointing. My son said the rice that comes with the maple glazed salmon was undercooked and crunchy. My husband ordered the taste of the islands and the fish was very dried out and bland. My mother wasnt happy with how undercooked the rice was either that came with the fajitas. I ordered the steak and shrimp. My steak was overcooked and hard. We did not complain to the server because it would have been way too many issues to correct. Our server was friendly but I rated service 3 stars because we weren’t asked or given any refills on our drinks (which we all wanted) and the host was not very welcoming. The entire restaurant was dead and empty and we were told our reservation was going to be cancelled if the remaining 3 guests of our 12 party did not come within the 15 minute grace period (which they did). That was very confusing to all of us because there was not a wait or any other reservations or walk ins. I manage a restaurant and first impressions are everything. I was not happy with this experience unfortunately.

    Went to Rainforest cafe to celebrate our oldest daughters birthday. It was nothing sort of amazing, although there was a little hiccup in the beginning it was a great time . Stacy B was our waitress and she was fantastic, honestly the best service we ever had at Rainforest!

    Our daughter loves coming here. We were able to be seated by the Tigers which made her even more excited as we ate. Food is a bit pricier than most restaurants but it is worth it see the look on our kids faces to see and eat with the animals

    Don’t expect to go here and walk right in. Reservations are basically required. My family had a reservation and while we were waiting my daughter fell asleep in her stroller. I was told by the hostess the stroller wasn’t allowed into the restaurant because of a fire hazard. I carried my daughter in and when we got to our oversized table asked the hostess to move the 2 extra chairs and ask if the stroller could go against the table in place of the chairs. I was told again its a fire hazard and she could block the area. I Didnt understand this since the chairs are in the walkway when someone is sitting in them compared to the size of my stroller. I let it go and we had our lunch. As we were leaving we saw 2 other strollers in the restaurant, blocking walkways and that were much bigger than mine. Im disappointed in rain forest cafe. The policy should be the same for everyone. Our food was okay, nothing out of this world. Our waitress was attentive and very kind. I would go back for the experience since my kids love being there with the animals and “thunder storm.”
