We started out having a great experience—Santiago, our server, was excellent. However, once we were moved outside (as originally planned), things changed. Our new server was a woman who seemed reserved and unfriendly, which impacted the overall mood. Unfortunately, a fly landed in one of our drinks. When we asked for a replacement, the same drink was returned—just with the fly removed—which was disappointing and concerning from a service and hygiene standpoint. We came hoping for a great time, and while the space is aesthetically beautiful, the service was inconsistent and ultimately left us with a negative impression.

My experience with the service was extremely disappointing. To begin with, when I made the booking, I requested a table with a rooftop view, which was not honoured. It was a very special occasion for me – my birthday – and I made that clear in the reservation as well. There was a 40-minute delay in bringing our drinks. When we asked the waitress about it, she explained that some ingredients were missing. Then we waited almost an hour for the plates to be cleared, and only after asking twice did the staff attend to it. At that point, we took the opportunity to order dessert. However, as it was taking far too long, we asked the waitress again what had happened. She didn’t remember our order and had to ask us again, and it still took another 30 minutes to arrive. The venue is beautiful, but unfortunately, the service was extremely poor.

I booked the table for a special celebration as did the group on the table next to us. On arrival at 2.15 I was told that we would need to be done by 3.30 as the restaurant had a private booking. This should have been stated at time of booking as I wouldn't have wasted my time going. They offered us a free drink and to sit in the lobby bar but this is not the same and we could have booked somewhere else if we had known in advance. They weren't very sympathetic with our situation and just said well you only get an hour and a half on your.booking anyway. Very disappointed by our visit.

It all just went a bit wrong, from start to finish. No acknowledgement of the booking we had made, waited ages for a drink, sat outside in strong sun with no option for shade, the service was slow and confused, dietary requirements handled poorly. Just generally not very good although the food was very nice. The management team did their best to rectify the situation and did knowledge and apologise but they were not having a good day

There is a street entrance and the door wouldn’t open. I’ve been there a number of times and they have greeters at street level but not today. We were there for 10mins. Would suggest they either go back to having greeters as before or invest in a Ring Doorbell so they can see when people are waiting. The receptionist said ‘we’ve just opened and not everyone’s here yet. Not a great experience for a premium venue. They didn’t even comp us a drink as an apology. Food and table service were to the standard you’d expect.
