Hi we booked a table for our Anniversary only drinks and was going to stay and finish our evening here but was sat 10 mins and no one came to take our order, a member off staff was doing the retractable roof walked passed several times didn’t even notice we hadn’t got drinks. We decided enough , so went to the lift and the Guy who was doing the retractable roof said thank you have a good evening, sad really he didn’t be more observant when we hadn’t been served a drink so left very poor service it wasn’t even busy so can’t put it down to that , thank you Mrs Sheriff

Inhospitable welcome as we arrived. They claimed that they were fully booked with a private event despite us having a confirmed booking. It became very clear that they didn’t want our custom. Rude and wouldn’t recommend. Much better welcoming, places available at a fraction of the cost! Needs to do much better

Problems from beginning arrived 1210 for a 1215 booking the direct access door from ground level locked shut! Asked at hotel reception directed to lift through hotel foyer. This was not switched to access restaurant! Another couple was stuck in the lift trying to access same we had to complain to reception again to get the lift switched on. Finally getting to the restaurant we were quickly shown to our table lovely view on the balcony looking over the Thames was the high spot of our visit. Drinks order was taken quickly even then had to adjust my order as beer on menu was not available drinks arrived after a reasonable wait and our food order was taken. After a 30 min wait we were informed that there had been a problem with the gas after a fire alarm that morning and our food would be delayed 10 mins after another 20 mins my wife’s main course turned up before the starter? She didn’t think it would be a problem as both her choices were light dishes anyway. But she was shocked at the state of the ladies toilets messy and even whole flush mechanisms missing. After another 20 min we were approached by the manager stating there was still a problem with the gas and they did not know when it might be fixed did we want to change our order to something cold or fried! Did not really want this so offered to pay the bill so far and we would leave, to give the manager some credit they actually covered the costs incurred which was a nice bit of service recovery. Final shortfall the front desk greeter was so stuck into her phone she did not even say goodbye while we waited for lift. Was disappointed that our visit did not go as well as expected as my wife was really looking forward to it.

The view was very nice, the drinks very basic, the service left much to be desired, neither helpful nor polite, telling you 3 times about something you know should be on every table, I hope I never go back there, it left a bad taste in my mouth

We started out having a great experience—Santiago, our server, was excellent. However, once we were moved outside (as originally planned), things changed. Our new server was a woman who seemed reserved and unfriendly, which impacted the overall mood. Unfortunately, a fly landed in one of our drinks. When we asked for a replacement, the same drink was returned—just with the fly removed—which was disappointing and concerning from a service and hygiene standpoint. We came hoping for a great time, and while the space is aesthetically beautiful, the service was inconsistent and ultimately left us with a negative impression.
