   The venue is amazing, super thoughtful and the attention to detail is amazing. The food: The pickled tea leaf salad is great, very balanced and delicious. Oaxacan Fondue was good, very cheesy as expected. Crab corn doughnut, not good, crab meat tasted very tinned and was out of the fridge cold plonked on a warm doughnut. Bay Scallop Black Cocktail was also not good, waaaaay too salty, the scallops were lost in the black salty liquid as well as the octopus. In fact you couldn't taste anything other than limes and salt. The michelada was good, spicy, good flavours, that and the salad were the best things we had.

   We had the memelita, guacamole and a Maria Tambien for our cocktail. All of it was amazing and we’re looking forward to returning on our next trip to try more dishes and cocktails.

   Everything about this restaurant was amazing I had a great experience the only thing that was difficult was parking especially during busy seasons it would be best to arrive early to give yourself time to find a parking spot if you decide to make reservations

   Quixote is my favorite restaurant in San Diego, the ambiance, drinks and food do not disappoint on a consistent basis. I will keep returning

   Took quite a long time to get seated with a reservation but the restaurant is beautiful. They were sold out of the BBQ ribs by 8pm on Friday. Spicy tuna tostada and chili garlic shrimp tacos were delicious. Guac was almost there, a little too much lime and I wish the micro-cilantro was incorporated through out and not just on top. I was a little sad that the tortillas did not taste home-made. The drinks were lovely, very good use of mezcal.

   The food and service were quite good. The decor is interesting, but too dark for my taste. It is very noisy.

    Was recommended to try this out was looking for something different for my birthday. Sat at table 15 minutes before having to wave down someone who ended up being out server who had walked past us the entire time we sat there no water and no greeting after being seated. Server was a complete flop of customer service. We had to ask for water multiple occasions. When he filled the water wouldn't fill all the glasses would have to have him come back for the other glasses. Checked in on us two times for any needs questions or service. Was informed it was my birthday and at the end where everyone else around us celebrating birthdays got something he completely failed to recognize or do anything. DO NOT GO HERE if you intend to get service from the server that doesn't care about his patrons or you being there for a special moment. Couldn't believe we were so disappointed because we were told this place was such a nice place. Very disappointed.
