Del equipo editorial de OpenTable: Si Quixote parece un lugar de culto, no es casualidad. Este amplio restaurante antes era una iglesia mexicana, tal como lo insinúan las velas de Santa María y su púlpito convertido en barra.     We visited Quijote on July 13th to celebrate my daughter’s 20th birthday, and it was an unforgettable experience. The food was absolutely spectacular — the Oaxaca cheese fondue was one of the most delicious dishes I’ve ever tasted, and the huitlacoche tamal was simply amazing! The atmosphere was warm, elevated, and full of character, making the whole evening feel extra special. Tucked inside the beautiful Lafayette Hotel, Quijote gave us a night to remember. We truly enjoyed every moment of our visit!

    There are not many food options and it is shockingly expensive. Each small appetizer was the cost of a full entree anywhere else. They recommend 2-3 of those per person. The guacamole was extremely heavy on cilantro throughout - it was hard to taste anything else. We ended up leaving without an actual meal because we couldn't justify the cost for the serving sizes. Two small beers and a couple of tiny plates cost us close to $100. That being said, our server was fantastic. Very friendly, kind, knowledgable, and even brought us two small complimentary glasses of champagne and a red rose for our anniversary. If the menu had a bigger variety, adjusted the affordability, and was more flexible with substituions we would certainly be back.

    The ambiance was amazing the decor was off the wall the entire hotel is an experience I was expecting this to be a trendy spot with mediocre food but I was pleasantly surprised by the food drinks were good the tuna tostada and the Oaxacan fondue were my favorite of the dishes I ordered next time I go back I will definitely get these again make a reservation place gets packed and get there early parking sucks show up a few hours early and explore the hotel.and the several bars I recommend the gutter bar

    Was excited to try and left disappointed. The table we were seated at upstairs was extremely small and very loud. One person in the party is left staring at the wall. Our server was knowledgeable with the menu however his demeanor changed once we didn’t order what he recommended. Be prepared for a 20 min explanation of the menu to boot. Will not be returning.

    Roxanne was our server and she was the bomb! Very genuine and knowledgeable. The food was incredible - get the fried squash blossom dish. It was our favorite. The decor was great - only suggestion I'd have is to curate the playlist a little more. It was a bit too pop-ish for the place. :) Other than that, it was an overall good vibe.

    The food was absolutely delicious, the service was excellent and the atmosphere is out of this world. This was my first time dining here and I can’t wait to come back again.
