   Food and service was fantastic . Rooftop needs more umbrellas for shade. We sat at bar because it was shaded with a sail. Drink prices little high but excellent quality.

   My friends and I enjoyed our first visit to the rooftop at Quirk hotel. The drinks were very good, the food good although limited selection, and the service was excellent. The noise level was too high for comfortable conversation even when we were the only table of customers! The views were superb.

   Rooftop is a relaxed location. Not really a spot for an intimate conversation. Two people are seated across a table, sitting in their own sofa chairs, so have to sort of holler to each other. The rooftop, unfortunately, doesn't have great ambiance. The hotel is very spartan, but the minimalist vibe just makes the rooftop appear like, well, a rooftop. It could really be improved with maybe greenery and other vegetation; dividers of some sort - something to break up the space. Cocktails were good and presentation was excellent. Hummus with bread and veggies as an appetizer was exceptional. Price seemed high for the experience.

   Wondeful evening on the rooftop for my daughter's birthday. There was a salsa dancing group around the corner that was lively but not at all loud and looked like a blast. Special thanks to the staff for exceptional service as they help me out of a major jam by picking up the cake across the street when I could not get there before they closed!

   Beautiful views. And that is what you’re here for, so enjoy the view, fresh air and fun vibe. Food & drink are good (not great) and service was wonderful.

   Taylor our waitress was the only waiter helping the inside and outside guests. She was very polite and did a great job however you could tell she was very short handed and tired. The manager did nothing to help get food and drinks out. Our drinks took 30 mins and our pizza came out with barley melted cheese. It seems like a lot of the staff was just standing around and nobody but Taylor was actually working . Javon at valley was super nice and greeted us with a smile although he also looked like he was understaffed. Thank you Javon and Taylor for doing your job with a smile especially under those circumstances !

    We had a fantastic birthday dinner at the Quirk Rooftop! The views were fantastic, music was upbeat but not too loud, and our server was attentive and kind. We had a reservation and were quickly seated. It is a bit on the pricier side, but you are definitely paying for that incredible view of Charlottesville. We will definitely be back!
