The food at the Queen of Sheeba was amazing. Good recommendations from the waitress as we were unsure what to have. The only downside was the bench seating was uncomfortable. Will definitely be going there again!

The food here is consistently great and the owner family is so friendly. I love Ethiopian food and theirs is among the best I have had. Please don't hesitate based in the odd strip mall location - go in and enjoy yourself.

The food choices were not familiar to us but the staff was very helpful and recommended some excellent choices. The lamb tibs were excellent. The staff explained the traditional way to eat as well as the ingredients and way of cooking. I wish we had additional time to stay and enjoy the coffee but we had something scheduled too close to stay late for the fellowship.

Personal service and attention from the owner, who oversaw the kitchen and all aspects of our dinner. Ethiopian dining is like few others. The food itself, as well as the manner in which one eats the food (mostly scooping with the bread), is very unique. Foods ranged from mild to spicy, but was all good. The meats are prepared in more of a stew to ground style, depending on what you order. The vegetarian options turned out to be spectacular, and this coming from a meat eater who typically avoids the vegetable options. In this case, the spicy lentil (however it was prepared) was my favorite. The desserts were tremendous. Simple, flavorful and mostly sweetened with honey, which is how they also sweetened my freshly made juice (strawberry banana - many other options available too). And the coffee ritual, including roasting, clay pots, incense, etc. was delightful. Please do give this small local establishment a shot.

Don't be fooled by the location (a strip mall) or the exterior (we missed it twice). Diverse menu and terrific food. Welcoming and attentive staff. We'll be back!

I found Queen of Sheba online while staying in Ft Wayne for the weekend. I wanted to treat the kids to Ethiopian food while on vacation as their dad and I had had it and loved it. Queen of Sheba was the ONLY Ethiopian restaurant in town! We were a little apprehensive at first as the ambiance is very lacking, kind of a hole in the wall place, not decorated very well and we had to fit our large family of 7 at two small round tables. I was very happy we went though! The food was amazing as well as the service and the friendly family that runs the place. The cook herself even came out and served us. A must is getting coffee at the end of your dinner as they have a coffee roasting ceremony and the wonderful coffee bean aroma fills the little place. The kids had a wonderful time trying something new. We will definitely go back!
