It is a great spot right in Hanover street. For the price the food is so good. The lobster ravioli was amazing, and I thought they had a great wine selection.
It is nearly impossible to leave Quattro without a headache. Tables are too close to each other (1 foot). Service was unexpectedly perfect, waiter was kind and fast.
If you have eaten real Italian pizza before, you will not be satisfied here. Dough was not good, sauce was not delicious. It was below average margarita.
Our waitress rushed us the entire time. Food was decent, but it wasn't a relaxed or pleasant experience.
Great service. No dessert but great entrees.
Constantin is one of the best servers out there. Food is amazing and worth the price
Despite it being a very busy holiday week-end evening we were treated with care and patience.
Our favorite place. Small Italian restaurant with authentic Napoli pizza. Grazie. Waiter was not as attentive as usual. Forgot bread and oil for table. But still our go to Hanover street restaurant. Grazie Millie. 11/26/21
My grown daughter and I loved the food! Cute little place, …..very tight, close tables and the music overhead was a tad bit loud, but we still enjoyed it. We had great calamari, bellinis, my lobster ravioli was wonderful and my daughter really liked her pasta dish. We’d definitely go back!
Super fast service, got our food in 10-15 minutes, we were in and out in 30 minutes
had a wonderful time visiting for my sisters birthday. we had a reservation and they will seat you once your whole party arrives to the restaurant. busy Saturday night. the place was small but packed. enjoyed the quattro cosmo, linguini and clams and the calamari. also love their sister (?) restaurant mare across the street. will return!
This nights special: Frutti di Mare’ was outstanding.
It is what it is, a touristy restaurant, tables are too close, very loud, bathrooms are busy all the time.
At the same time: good is decent and so is the service
Quattro was good, but the staff was overwhelmed. Drinks took over 20 minutes and we were charged $2.00 extra for mozzarella on our pizza. Who doesn’t include the price of cheese on pizza? Better yet, who eats cheese less pizza?! 🍕
I was really looking forward to a romantic dinner in the North End. I liked Quattro because it offered a variety of entrées, including pizzas which were amazing. However, it's a very loud and very vibrant atmosphere which makes it difficult if you want to simply have conversation and enjoy a dinner with someone. Next visit to the amazing North and will likely be somewhere else.
I would recommend it, but please be prepared for a very fast turnover of tables, a very loud atmosphere and the crowd was on the younger side late 20s to 30s with some families. I'm a bit older, 60, and was hoping for something a bit more slow, mellow, casual and delicious.
My experience at Quattro last night was amazing. The manager, Michael, went above and beyond to make sure that we had the best service and food. You cannot go wrong here, food, service and ambiance is amazing!!!
Great food and service! The lobster risotto was delicious! So was the chicken parm and pasta bolognese. Definitely want to try other dishes.
Felt rushed by the waitress to hurry up and eat even after we had to wait to be seated even with a reservation. Had the audacity to come back and hound us about now giving her a big tip.
The food was amazing and the service was great. We had the Quattro formaggi pizza and it was very good, and my partner had the gnocchi sorrentina and loved it while I had the cacio e pepe and thought it was wonderful. Definitely recommend.
Out table was ready when we arrives, the service and food were excellent.
So disappointed. Booked ahead for anniversary, requesting window if possible. Understand that was not to be but we were seated in the middle of the tiny dining room on outdoor patio furniture that was added inside the restaurant with no social distancing. Really surprised that the pasta was over cooked and the sauce was bland in a North End staple restaurant on Hanover Street. No manager in sight, and certainly no manager ever swung by. We will not be back given so many better choices in the area.
It was amazing experience friendly staff great ambiance will definitely return and highly recommend
This place is always spot on!! Not this time. I was very surprised! I was always a fan!! The service was not great, the pizza was undercooked. We ordered 4 and all just ok. Sauce was very runny. Always a big fan of their meatballs and eggplant. Meatballs were like warm and just kind of bla! In the past we always got 3 to an order, only 2 came. The eggplant as small and mushy.
I know a lot of places are under staffed but why not try to be pleasant.
The food was pretty good but our waiter came to our table twice once to take the order and once to deliver the tab. The volume was out of control there was no possibility of conversion. Will not be recommending or going back.
The reservation process was seamless and they allowed me to later increase my reservation to 4 from 2 people; however when we got there, we were given patio seating (which was not my expectation). Additionally, we frequently had to remind our server of several things.
In general, though, our experience was lovely. The food was very nice and the drinks were fabulous (cocktails and wine). The positives definitely out-weight the negatives.
The food and service were amazing. Would definitely come back.
Bleak, unfortunately. Cacio e Pepe was an Alfredo, had to add own pepper and cheeses were completely off. Chicken parm was average.
Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. If I could change one thing it would be to add dessert to the menu!
It was fine - fine service, fine food. Not authentic Italian but decent food.
Tasty pizza and pasta - and affordable. The service was lively and had good recommendations. The place is on a vibrant corner and we were lucky to sit by the window. The cannoli was meh… but small blip in a great meal.
We sat outside on a beautiful fall Saturday afternoon and had a birthday lunch with our 14-year-old son. The food was fantastic. Perhaps the only downside was the occasional loud and prolonged beeping of impatient drivers on Hanover Street.
Too crowed not enough space to enjoy your company.
Great spot right on Hanover. The food was amazing and our server (Daniel) was fantastic! I’d definitely recommend checking this place out if you find yourself in the city.
Not the quality you expect for this overpriced food. My pizza was raw and my wife's pasta was quite flavourless. They already built in the tip, but of course they suggest to tip afterwards. On a positive note, the server was really good. With all the fine restaurants in the north end, we won't come back.
Vacationing in Newport. Perfectly wonderful!!
The host was not interested in honoring the reservation and talked about restaurant rules. The server messed up the bills. Overall not a good experience at all.
Bolognese was solid, Lobster risotto was fantastic & loaded with lobster. Server seemed unhappy to be there
Computers not working. Waiter refused to serve bread until I was seated about 10 minutes after my husband and daughter. White wine selections need improvement. Food was good but not imaginative and did not mention local ingredients. Wouldn’t take much to get this place to the next level. Bread excellent. Need better training for hostess and wait staff. Not up to par with Bricco yet. Keep working! Women’s RR also needed attention. Small details being missed
Everything was great. Only complaint would be the waitress forcing food on us and telling us if we didn’t order we would have to leave. I understand it was busy and they want to turn over tables but it was very off putting.
The food was good but overpriced for what it was.
A very nice place to eat. The food was very good! The service was great. We made a very wise choice eating at Quattro
