The food is great. The hostess is a disaster. Don't expect you reservation time to be honored our to be treated with respect while being told to wait outside, again and again.
Carino, ma non speciale
We’re eating the leftovers now. Yummy!
My pizza (parma proscuitto) and the meat ball app were very good. My partner's pizza (sausage & rabe) was alright but not the best, especially at a place we'd been told to come for the pizza. His beer was also off, probably almost kicked, but drinkable. They were very busy and I felt the waitress was rushing us through our dinner. We weren't looking to be particularly leisurely, especially since it was too loud to really talk but we were in and out in less than 30 min, definitely in part because of that feeling of being rushed to order, pay, etc. Would go back though, knowing what to order and on a less busy night!
Great vibe and excellent pizza
Very friendly staff and we were well looked after
Margherita pizza was very authentic - we loved it
Love Quattro! This is one of our Boston go-to restaurants.
We had pizza and the margarita did not even have basil on it -- only red sauce and cheese. Soggy too. There are probably other places in the North End much better than this. Waitress was very nice and attentive, but food was average.
Pizza is best thing on menu
Had to send back salmon two times - still raw. Wouldn’t bring a new piece.
Pizza was cold.
We absolutely love Quattro on Hanover Street in Boston. Excellent food and the service is impeccable. The brick-oven pizza and anything from the rotisserie is fabulous. You will not be disappointed.
Absolutely worth the visit. Amazing pizza, wine , food!!!
Good food, a little pricy for the modern atmosphere but good overall.
Excellent but LOUD!!!
The food was all cold and the lamb was very tough and over cooked. It was practically inedible, as was the chicken parm which tasted like the chicken had turned. I had very high hopes for this restaurant and was very disappointed.
Our Romanian waitress was efficient and engaging. We loved the food and the lively vibe.
The manager was extremely rude telling us and other customers to leave the doorway. Although it was a busy night, as a customer I did not appreciate being yelled at.
Despite a busy weekend in Boston, we could still hear each other at the table. Dinner was pleasant, but nothing out of the ordinary.
Good service, good food. Reasonable prices compared to other north end restaurants and nice and bright atmosphere.
Quattro was outstanding. I highly recommend the chicken parm. Diego our server was excellent as well.::
They don’t offer wine by the glass. The cocktails are watered down. Their gravy (sauce) was acidic. Meatballs were hard. Pasta cooked well. Wouldn’t go back. So many other great options in the North End.
Great food fun atmosphere great for a larger group as well
Food was bland, had the shrimp and scallops skewer. Food was slightly undercooked but ok, but there was no seasoning or flavor. Very bland.
Our waiter came by twice the whole night and while talking to us was looking away the whole time. Could tell he could care less. There are much better restaurants in the north end. I’d avoid this one.
Unfriendly service. Quite impersonal compared to other places we’ve eaten in the North End.
Second time coming here. The calamari was great. My husband got the sausage and rabi over pasta which was great. I got the seafood pizza but didn’t really like the sauce. It was just a pizza covered in a lot of sauce with small pieces of seafood in it. Mostly small pieces of fish. Not the greatest dish I’ve had. The ambiance was wonderful though.
I've been to this restaurant many times over the years. It's always a beautiful and a good date night. However, the service was cold. Food was quick but the server was very dismissive. Dinner itself wasn't it's best I had a sausage round noodle dish that was flavorless. It was disappointing especially compared to previous experiences
Veramente un ottima pizza.
Food was very good. Very small place. There are 6 restaurants affiliated with this restaurant, Aqua pazzo, mare, assiagos, trattoria il panino .... earlier in the day we were on a food tour that took us to il panino and the food was outstanding. We were unable to get seated at night there , so we made reservations on open table at Quattro..... pizza is good , chicken parm and pasta were also very good . We had 2 tables. They do not like to make reservations for large parties(7) ...... so we got on open table and made 2 reservations under 2 names. They were not even willing to do that at the door. We did not get seated next to our other party but it was fine. Our waiter( same gentleman who would not take reservation ) was not nearly as friendly as the other table’s waiter, but again , it was all good ...... would recommend this restaurant!
I chose Quattro last minute because it had availability and I trust anything de Pasquale to be pretty quality. Id just been out all day on college tours with my son and frankly was exhausted. The menu didnt do much for me...They were out of the only bottle of wine we wanted. I was really in the mood for a plate of veggies for some reason but whatever. I settled on a salad that for some reason had candied nuts on each corner of the plate? The rest of the food was fine ( I always taste the tomato sauce to test Italian restaurants :)).
What really bothered me....and it might not have ordinarily...but again I was tired and dropping $$ on an pretty ordinary meal...was when someone walked in the restaurant lile they owned the place, still half in conversation with someone at the door or outside yelling "...no, b---tch-!"
I couldve heard that in McDonalds. Im far from and trust me- no stranger to foul language, but I don't want it yelled in my ear when Im eating with my son at decent restaurant.
What made me even more mad is the guy walked right over to a server and started tallking. I really hope it was to pick up food and that its not usual for people who are yelling xiss words to visit staff. Not going back now....just seems classless to me. Sorry :/
Amazing cioppino pasta, gnocchi, and risotto. Pizza was delicious too.
Service was excellent! Food was amazing!
Service was great! Food was really good. We had a Bibb salad, calamari, mixed grill and awesome sirloin tips! Would definitely recommend!
I found hair in my food which was kind of gross. Prices were a bit high.
They don't have AC! They have open flame ovens! It was too hot to enjoy our meal. The food was sub par.
Delicious pizza and “quaffable” wine. Felt somewhat rushed
Such a great meal! The food was delicious and affordable and came out quickly. We wanted a seat by the window, and the hostess was super accommodating and found us a spot. 10/10 experience.
Bar service was fabulous. We sat at the bar to kill time and Roberto and Mike were great hosts. Once our delayed party arrived we sat at a table by the sidewalk which was delightful. Service was very slow once we sat at the table unlike the great service we got at the bar. It seemed our waiter was inexperienced (but very pleasant). He didn’t really know the menu and how the food was prepared. One party asked repeatedly when ordering for one thick piece of eggplant al dante and was told no problem. Once received it was 5 layers of mushy eggplant while flavor was good not what was ordered. Not really flexible on substitution of foods even though very happy to pay for the substitution. We noticed many people coming in and getting served long after we had ordered. It took a long time for the food. Overall great people who work there, food was average while priced comparable to area, and atmosphere was good. Would go back and try again hopefully having a better experience
We were seated right away. Mike, our waiter was excellent. Food was excellent!
Tried this place for dinner .
Everyone was pleased
Service was quick in terms of getting orders and food.
Everyone was happy ...pizza pasta seafood choices
