Quattro Ristorante, Grille & Pizzeria, is restaurateur Frank DePasquale’s forth restaurant in the North End, hence the name which means 4 in Italian. Quattro is also located on the 4 major corners of the North End, Boston’s Famous Italian Neighborhood. Inspired by Italy’s passion for high quality foods prepared with fresh ingredients, Quattro brings delicious foods from simple locally grown ingredients. Frank DePasquale does something few restaurateurs have every tried, melding a full service restaurant that serves wine, beer and cordials with a kitchen equipped with a rotisserie, a char broiler and an authentic Neapolitan brick style pizza oven. Quality has been the only focus and the essential ingredient at Quattro, from the ingredients to the preparation of the food to the service. Quattro’s unique menu appeals to a wide variety of people by touching on all categories, fresh meats, seafood, pork and poultry prepared right in front of your eyes on our custom built rotisserie.

Always a pleasure eating here. Great menu and wine selections that are reasonably priced.
Can’t go wrong with the Risotto specials and the calamari appetizer is fantastic - not greasy and high quality seafood.

Food was awesome. Waitress was very stressed and did not come back and check on us. Needed to ask for refills on water and drinks. Never cleared our plates until way after. Not sure if tip was added on but we did pay tip based on the total. Not sure if waitress was new

Food is always amazing when we come here. Love the ambiance though it does get quite loud at times.

The food was good and service was excellent but small and close tables. Better for casual or pizza not my favorite for a special night out.

Food is always very good. We normally have a waiter named Michael who is fantastic and super attentive, but this time we were given a different waiter and he was absolutely terrible. He was more interested in flirting with girls at the bar than waiting on our table. I asked him for fresh cracked pepper on my pasta and he retrieved a 2 and half foot pepper grinder, obviously designed for a waiter to be able to grind for you over a long or large table, and he handed it to me to grind my own pepper. Normally this would be fine if it was a normal size, but I literally had to stand up to grind my own pepper while he stood there and watched me do it. He never brought us bread and this place is well known for their bread. I asked for recommendations and he had none. He never refilled our water glasses, we constantly had to ask other waiters to do it because he was chatting with ladies at the bar. We love this restaurant and always visit it when we are in Boston, but the service was so bad we may have to find us another restaurant or always ask for Michael.

Disappointing
2.0  Dined on February 17, 2018

Extremely disinterested service was a big disappointment. We were a table of four, two adults and two kids, and two tables around us were seated about 15 minutes after us yet ordered and received their food well before us. We had to ask for bread which was provided promptly to other tables. Through all of this, our waiter was either missing in action or preening. This was a Saturday evening and the restaurant was busy, but he really needed an attitude adjustment. Food, when it arrived, was ok but not fantastic. Restaurant was cozy with little space between tables and a cool breeze will be felt if seated near the entrance. Overall, not the best dining experience, soured by the service.

Went with a friend on a cold winter night, and loved the cozy ambiance, and the fireplace! Easy to hear each other talk as well, not too noisy. Great food & service.

Great small place in the North End with reasonably priced food. The gnocchi was unreal and will definitely be back again for it!

We come to Quattro often however this visit was not one of the better ones. Asked to change tables due to the door draft and were refused. Asked for an extra topping on a pizza and were refused, even though we have done it every other visit. We will probably be back just not as often as before.

Great Euro-style service. No rush, but the server was there when we needed him. The food and wine were good, with lots of other dishes we would like to try. We will be back!

Pros: great Naples style pizza, fresh-tasting ingredients.

Cons: pasta not “al dente” as you would expect at an Italian restaurant

We had a lovely time at Quattro. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful in describing many dishes to us. The food was served promptly and was delicious. The only down side was the constant cold draft every time someone opened the restaurant door. I had to keep my coat on my lap all evening. But if it's not ridiculously cold out, definitely give it a try! A cozy restaurant with authentic Italian food and wonderful staff.
