Relaxed and comfortable with a chic, contemporary atmosphere, Quarter Bar & Lounge seats up to 70 people.

Serving social food ideal for relaxed conversations and meetings, menu choices range from a wide selection of platters to small dishes of vegetarian, fish, seafood and meat options - perfect for sharing. Perennial favourites such as cakes and pastries, sandwiches and salads, will be served, alongside Quarter Bar's very own beef burger, Club Sandwich and Afternoon Tea.

Come the cocktail hour, the classics come into prominence (Cosmopolitan, Whisky Sour, Mojito, Side Car etc.), side by side with champagne cocktails and seasonally changed specials, taking inspiration from the fresh, market produce of nearby Borough Market - London's most famous gastronomic oasis. A full bar is of course available with soft drinks, a range of Tea Forté teas, hot chocolate and coffees served by specially trained baristas.

My wife and myself has a really lovely Champagne afternoon tea at the Quarter Bar in Waterloo. The waitress couldn't be more attentive. The selection of sandwiches, cakes and scones was so lovely and tasty and wonderfully presented. Tea & coffee very ,very nice. The Champagne makes it so so special. All in all the afternoon was a wonderfull experience. Will recommend the Quarter Bar and Louge in The London Bridge Hotel to my Friends & Family.

A bit disappointing as not real ambience for afternoon tea. Sandwich filling was limited and disappointing. Waiter/ waitress were very polite

The service was extremely poor - almost funnily so. Food was OK and price not too bad. Good place to go if you cant get a reservation anywhere else as its quite quiet.

As always the Quarter Bar was warm and welcoming, and a haven following a day at work. The food offered in the platters has greatly improved, as has the service. My only criticism is that I wish they offered a wider selection of wines by the glass.

One of the best afternoon teas we have had on our frequent visits to London. The selection and quality was well above average. Although if you want further drinks you have to ask!!

We started with two cocktails - they were perfect. Then shared a platter with large glasses of red wine - the food has improved since my last visit - everything very fresh and well presented. My only criticism - as said before is that I wish they would extend the choice in glasses of wine. Will definitely go back.

We had afternoon tea before going off to a show at the O2 ( I recommend the Thames Clipper Express from London bridge pier) The tea was excellent with lovely cakes and sandwiches. When we came back we had an Asian Platter, which was nice followed by several of their great cocktails.

Well located for the traveller in and out of London Bridge. Smart, clean and functional 'lounge bar'. The service was very smart and was undertaken by Nicola with a firm smile. The food (remember we were in the lounge, not in therestaurant) was served swiftly and efficiently and was perfectly functional for a mid afternoon late lunch 2.30pm meet. The lounge area has wide booths and plenty of lounge chair seating. This venue makes for a perfect meet up location

After a great visit to the Shard afternoon tea was lovely at the Quarter Bar.Good selection and more than enough for 4 people and was even allowed to take home what we couldn't eat.If you book and show your ticket for that day to the Shard you also get a glass of bubbly well worth it and would love to do it all again.
