Creating and maintaining a most unique dining, drinking, entertainment experience is our goal. And the task to accomplish this is quite basic. Keep it simple, keep it Texas and offer good menu items with the best possible service. We expected more of a German feel. The sausage was greasy and the place felt more like a sports bar.

We use to enjoy Hoffbrau. However, it’s Gond downhill. The restaurant smelled of mold and like an old bar when we walked in. The menu has been paired down and there are now few food offerings and those that are there are mostly bar type food, the drinks menu remind extensive. The food we got was not particularly good. The cheese and pretzel on our sausage board had obviously been sitting out in the heat de some time. The restaurant was quite empty when we went on a Sunday at 5. Mostly what seemed to be off duty employees and industry people at the bar. I would say this is now more of a bar than restaurant. Disappointing experience overall.

It's not like a hofbrau house at all. They didn't have it on draft and what they did have, it was flat. Burger was mediocre at best.

My wife liked her Chicken Fried Steak a lot but my sausages were burnt. They weren’t really very busy but server was slow to bring our check when we were done.

Great place for small meetings or just a quick bite to eat. Only downfall is the limited parking.

On a warm, almost-spring night, its large outdoor seating area was just what we were looking for. The food - jaeger schnitzel and a sausage platter - were very good and very plentiful, at a very reasonable price. When we arrived at 6:30 on a Saturday, it was delightful. But if you want quiet, go on another night or no later than 6. Then the band next door started up about 7 and was very loud, making conversation difficult. The band at the Hofbrau hadn't started yet when we left, and I shudder to guess the noise level when that happened. We are likely to return, but not on Saturday night.
