Amazing food. It’s hard to find dishes that are unique these days but I was blown away by the incredible pairings. Something as simple as squash paired with salmon roe and a white cream sauce poured over upon serving....took something so simple to amazingly complex bursts of flavor.
Food was outstanding!

A true neighborhood gem! In a city of great restaurants, this more than holds its own in terms of quality and presentation of food, creativity, and friendliness and knowledge of waitstaff. Never had a disappointing meal or experience here (and we've been there a dozen times)

This place NEVER disappoints. Amazing food - utterly amazing. Great waitstaff, wonderful atmosphere.
Everything was very good. But I do want to say it is small plates for a high price.
Changed the menu and was disappointed. Wanted the lobster fried rice. New menu is ok. Not great
What a delightful evening and a delicious dinner. A flavor explosion in each dish, great combinations of ingredients and textures! The service was top notch, terrific wines and cocktails, knowledgeable staff. We loved it all, thank you!
I have dined here several times prior but not recently. Seems they have lost their identity. The menu has also shifted its focus from simple delicious ...to over complicated not focused
I love this place! I am always impressed by the diverse creative food options and revolving seasonal menu. I have never had a bad meal here. The service is always superior. Although it has a lively atmosphere, it’s also a great place to have a lovely dinner conversation.

The music was way too loud and harsh, not at all conducive to eating.
The menu required the waiter stand there and explain a lot of weird foods or items that could have been easily explained upon the menu. It made ordering as a group a lengthy process. Several items were not that great.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful.
We had a fabulous dinner here Saturday evening. Every dish was inspired and something that I would not have made at home, either because I would have had trouble finding the ingredients or it would have been too labor intensive.
Three of us shared the smoked scallops; a braised vegetable that I had never had before (and have forgotten the name of) which was a bit like celery, only better; a wonderful Himachi dish and pork osso Bucco. Followed up with a great flourless chocolate cake.
The service was friendly and efficient. We sat upstairs, which I had never done before. For some reason, the few times that I was there before, I was always seated in the bar area. I much preferred the upstairs. it was quieter and we had a great view of the kitchen so that we could see things being prepared.
I'm looking forward to returning soon and have been telling my friends how good it was

The food was outstanding. There were 10 of us for a birthday. The chef designed a 4-course menu that blew us all away. We’ll be back soon!

Loved everything except the zydeco music. Such a special place and meal -the music was distracting. A different genre would have made it perfect!!!!

Excellent meal and service. The fried rice, duck, black cod, Brussels sprouts and carrots were divine. I think the braised short rib would have been better with lamb to compliment the sauces that were central to its preparation.

Fabulous as usual. Food is superb, and service is attentive and helpful. One of our favorite places in Portland.
Be careful walking in the restaurant from the restroom. I almost fell the floors are slippery.
The cocktails were complex and quite interesting. We shared several items. The scallops were unique and the carrot dish was delish! Steak tartar was so yummy - want more! The staff was responsive to our needs and replaced a drink we didn't like.
We had the 7 course tasting menu with wine and it was amazing. We particularly enjoyed their beautiful vegetables.

Excellent evening out - food was great, service was outstanding. Took care of us nicely for our anniversary (complimentary glass of bubbles) - meaning they read the requests on OpenTable! Our favorite items were the carrots and prawn fried rice. We didn't check out the wine list, as we brought our own ($20 corkage). Really nice spot for a special occasion/date night! Wouldn't take kids here, pretty sophisticated palate/menu.
Best food I've had in Portland and the perfect place for a special night. Thoughtful, intentional, interesting flavor pairings that showcase fresh local ingredients in a way that isn't just for show. Classy and attentive service, awesome drink options, and a great space both indoors and outdoors. At our most recent visit we got the chef's tasting menu and we highly recommend the experience. We were able to customize it to our diet preference and it was a great value. Can't wait to visit again! Fine dining that's actually worth it.
Overly pretentious restaurant. They refused to put salt on the rim of a cocktail, ha! It wasn’t a big deal to anyone in the party but it was humorous to see their response. Feels like your in an episode of Portlandia.
You aren’t that special Quaintrelle. I won’t be back anytime soon considering the plethora of good dining options in Portland.
Tasting menu is a waste of time. Just the exact same meals and portion sizes as the main menu, far far too much food and not fun by the end.
