Visited their new galleria location for an anniversary dinner. Love the new space. And live music in the form of a musician playing sax in a corner. Great vibe. Staff was friendly and gracious when we declined the first table offered. It was next to the sax and just a bit too loud at that proximity. We hung at the bar for a few, until a more secluded table came open. The wine list is not extensive and is California focused. We started with the mussels in a coconut sauce. Delicious. Wife had scallops and I had the spicy chicken bucatini. Excellent. The pasta was a huge portion and I was not above taking the rest home with me. No room for dessert but it was a lovely evening.

The food and service were outstanding. Decent wine selection - we were surprised at the lack of hard alcohol but it’s not a deal breaker by any stretch. It was noticeably loud and echo-ey at our table; that’s the only thing I’d ding them on.

We have only wonderful things to say about Q1227! We love the grilled Spanish octopus, the pork belly tidbits, the Brussel sprout chips… that’s before our entree!!! Tonight, I tried the roasted vegetable flatbread, delicious! My husband said he was going to try something new, but got the meatloaf again- he loves it! I have enjoyed the pan seared scallops and the braised short ribs in the past. Tonight our adult son joined us for the first time and he enjoyed the fried chicken!!!!

This was our first time dining at the new location. We did not know what to expect but were so glad to see that everything we loved about the old location was still there! Food quality was amazing. The Rib Eye Cap was cooked perfectly! We have had the pleasure of a having Janessa as our server at both locations and she is amazing!

We were greeted with a Happy Anniversary per my reservation note, which was nice. Service was great. We ordered the Curry Brussel Sprouts which were unique and tasty. I had the Jambalaya which was delicious and my girlfriend had the Salmon and she enjoyed. We were stuffed but got the Carrot Cake to go and my GF said it was good. Nice size portions. Great atmospere. Would recommend and will be back.

My mother is visiting from Georgia and we wanted to take her to a very nice restaurant to celebrate her 75th birthday!! Well… Q1227 was exactly what we were looking for! The food, service (Eric), ambiance, wine….. EVERYTHING was fabulous!!! To top it off, my mother got a picture with Chef Q!!!!! Yes, Chef Q took time out of his busy schedule to say hello and take a picture with my Mother!! I’m still in awe!!! Thank u Chef Q and team for an amazing experience!! Xoxoxo

This is one of my favorite restaurants. We’ve been here several times and they’ve never disappointed us. On our last visit we had a young man who did a phenomenal job. We were slightly worried that his age would mean inexperience but it was the exact opposite. Our server was very kind, professional, and attentive to the needs of our group. We were very impressed. Great job. Oh and the food was fantastic as always.
