Q1227 Restaurant is trailblazing a new genre we're calling California Comfort Food. Our entrees are designed from California's freshest ingredients, embodied with bold, succulent flavors. Chef Q embraced his native Florida roots and have created dishes that are wrapped in California's fresh fruit and vegetables. Some house favorites are our Q1227 Chicken Fried Lobster Bites, our Roasted Vegetable Flatbread, our phenomenal Grilled Seafood Platter and finishing the night off with our Bourbon Street Bread Pudding.

Enjoyed my Bornday celebration with four other Sistah Friends. Food was delectable, ambience was tranquil and tasteful, and interaction of guests was pleasing to observe.

I’ve dined at Q 1227 several times at the old location. This was my first time visiting the new location. I’ve always had a positive experience with the food the service the location the weight… Everything has been great. This time the food was not the best. One of the diners had just sent her food back and opted to just have a glass of wine. My fried chicken was overcooked and very dry. Another diner was not overwhelmed with their meal. I think it was just an off night with the kitchen because generally the food is always good. I will go back again.

Absolutely a beautiful dining experience. Great food and service. Get the mussels appetizer - to die for! The scallops and hangar steak were both perfection. Would order again and again. The coffee was great but a bit pricey for coffee. Not a fan of the bread pudding dessert. 18% gratuity added to bill which is just fine. New location is gorgeous!

We have always enjoyed dining at Q1227 but tonight everything seemed to be very salty. I had the Kale & mozzarella raviolis, and I believe it was the sauce that was so salty. I started to really feel sick. The Black Eyed Peas hummus and the brussels sprouts were very salty. The service was just OK. We came for my friend’s birthday, we will be back, but we will try something different next time. Be careful on the salt.

Chef Q makes some of the best food in the region. The ambiance is warm and intimate while bustling at the same time. The service is formal but not stuffy and unapproachable. The main issue with the restaurant is the lack of drink choices. They only serve wine. This made me want to leave because I don’t particularly like wine, but we stayed because we feared that no other restaurant would have tables at that time. Moreover, this forces the servers to make excuses for the owner’s poor business choices. The restaurant has a beautiful and completely underutilized bar that should be pumping out high profit cocktails. Instead, it is a sad looking storage area for wine carafes. I will not return to the restaurant until the drink issue is fixed.
