Purlieu is a French restaurant in the Oakridge community of Calgary, Alberta. The food is classic with dishes like Moules Frites, Coquille Saint Jacques & Steak au Poivre. The wines are French with a good selection from the Rhone Valley, Bordeaux and Champagne with a cocktail list focused on French and local spirits. At Purlieu, we're on the edge of the city, in the heart of the community.

    We had an outstanding meal at Purlieu once again! The appetizer Tempura Shrimp was perfectly cooked. The fish of the day was excellent, cooked just right so it was still lovely, moist and flaky. We finished our dinner with a lovely Butterscotch Creme Brulee. The service was outstanding, thank you Yves!

    One of our favourite restaurants. Everything about it is excellent including a great wine and cocktail selection - well curated. Looking forward to going back.

    We had an early dinner, 5:30. This allowed for a quieter meal and absolutely no rush as my wife and I celebrated her birthday. The service was top notch with plenty of time and suggestions for our choices. The food was superb and we will certainly dine at Purlieu again.

    This restaurant truly is a hidden gem! A gorgeous, intimate venue with absolutely incredible food and outstanding service. My hubby and I were here for his birthday and we adored it, will definitely be visiting again and recommending to friends. Thank you Purlieu for a truly lovely evening!

    A hidden gem in the SW....food has always been wonderful. Perhaps time to change the menu, but keep some of the favourites! Great restaurant
