    Fabulous service with exquisitely presented cocktails and dishes whose taste equaled the presentations. We were celebrating a birthday for which they provided a candle and a chocolate "happy birthday" sign atop the chocolate dessert. Very appreciated.

    You must be willing to go beyond your "comfort zone" and be willing to experiment with food textures and flavors to completely enjoy this dining experience. The wait staff will guide you through the menu. The sauces make each dish memorable. Just "go for it" as you won't be disappointed.

    Delicious Indian in lovely setting with fantastic service. Felt like a luxury dining experience in every way but at a nicer price point. Wish they offered tea/coffee at the end — forgot to ask for it myself — as we would’ve stayed longer.

    A colleague recommended this restaurant. Excellent place from the decor, ambiance and food. It is not a typical Indian restaurant I used to go, the menu has tuna tartare and scallops! From start to finish I enjoyed the high quality of food, presentation and service. Definitely a must try in DC!

    Amazing taste sensations! We had the lamb shank, butter chicken and sea bass! All delicious. The broccoli appetizer was a surprise! Great service from Nikola. We've eaten here several times and will return soon!

    The Punjab mule! Amazing! The food was creative and delicious! We had butter chicken and lamb with a mincemeat curry. I know. Mincemeat? Delish!!! Can't wait to go back. The only negative was the noise level. It was difficult to hear our server.

    Good experience. Service was good - a little bit hard to get the check but still good. Staff very well-informed on the menu. Food was pretty good, though somewhat under-seasoned. Really liked the butter chicken. Kulcha was so dry. Ambiance was way too loud. Party a couple tables down from us was very obviously out-of-control loud; date and I couldn’t even hear each other. We had to constantly repeat what we were saying, even after leaning on close to talk. We didn’t want to make a scene but would have appreciated if the wait staff had read the room and politely gone to that table to tell them that there were other diners to consider.

    Punjab Grill was amazing. We tried several plates and we loved all of them. We couldn’t choose a favorite. The Chef did an amazing job with the complexity of flavors. Each bite had a beautifully balanced flavor and each dish was beautifully presented. The wait staff was extremely knowledgable and helpful with our gluten allergy. The cocktails were delicious and also had an amazing presentation.

    Love this restaurant. My only recommendation is you should dim the light over the small tables and throughout the restaurant. Your decor is really nice, but the lighting feels like a cafeteria. Service and food was fantastic. Our waiter was phenomenal.
