   We’ve been to Pulcinellas multiple times, and left happy, except for this past Saturday night. We had a party of 4. Two of us ordered the steak special, with shaved potato over the top. The steak was very tough, and had a lot of fat and grizzle, so neither of us were happy with it, then the bill came and I was floored. We had 4 entrees, 2 appetizers and 6 drinks in total and the bill was $464 then add a tip of $100, so $564 for a subpar meal. Very disappointed and probably won’t go back.

   The entire experience was wonderful. I will definitely be back with my family and I will tell friends of the great experience we had.

   Appetizers very good. The salumi board is great. Main course pasta and chicken Parm dish extremely salty. The sauce was very salty on both dishes and made it not enjoyable. The prices are very high. The portions could easily be half the size and charge normal prices in my opinion. The service is good as to be expected for a restaurant that changes upwards of $80/100 per person for dinner. Overall decent .

   As always the food was exceptional and the service was excellent. My only concern was that there was no Pistachio Cheesecake available. Thank You as always John J Johnson and Friends.

   For the first time, it wasn't up to its own standard. The food was good. The service was terrible. The waiter kept disappearing.

   we frequent this location so it was not our 1st time dining there , The ambiance is exceptional. But I feel for Valentines day the staff might have been a little overloaded it took a while to get a waiter and the longer to get drinks and when the food was delivered the waiter never came back to check on us and the water was never refilled, we than finally had the waiter come back to the table to take a dessert order and that took a while to come out and the it took a while to get the check and then get the check back upon paying. I still love the restaurant but the limited menu and being a holiday I think they were not on their game today. We have had this waiter in the past and he was always 100% but not tonight..

   Food was good but I don’t understand how you don’t plate a dish as a meal! I got chicken francaise and all the $40 dish consisted of was 2 pieces of chicken and lots of sauce. How do you not throw a vegetable on that plate so that it is a full meal? And charge $40??? Kinda ridiculous.

    The evening started off perfectly with a very knowledgeable and friendly server. Outstanding recommendations for apps on zucchini flowers and langostinos were expertly prepared. For entrees, I ordered a sea bass special, and my wife ordered the lambchop special--to be served medium. They were served rare--very rare in fact. We didn't see our server again to let him know the order wasn't prepared properly. When we did finally see him, he offered to refire them up to medium but by then it was too late. Odd that there was no apology or regret shown. To his credit he took it off the bill (we didn't ask nor were we expecting that) but it was the right thing to do. My dinner was delicious, but my wife's experience really made for an overall meh experience. The dining room was packed, and it was a while again before we saw our server. By the time he offered dessert we just wanted to get out of there. It was unfortunate. It is a very nice restaurant with an impressive array of menu choices and specials. I never leave reviews, but this experience really bummed me out. We'll return here but it will be a while.
