Using both imagination and delicacy. Olvera recombines Mexico’s nearly infinite ingredients and flavors, demonstrating and extraordinary food culture’s potential in obsessive detail. - Private dining room - For parties from 9 to 14 people. - We charge 20% of gratuity at the end of the event. - We consider this space as the private room, the meal will be served as family style, that been said, the kitchen will choose the 4th and 6th courses according to you and your guest's preferences and dietary restrictions. Your server will elaborate a bit more on this at the time of the event.

Overrated and overpriced, especially after reserving nearly a month in advance. Have eaten at much cheaper restaurants in CDMX and Oaxaca with better food. Also, there was no drink pairing with the tasting menu. The only amazing thing on the tasting menu was the mole and mayo-covered small corn. The cocktails were only decent.

Muy bueno nos gusto mucho la comida y el ambiente lo que no me gusto llegar 5 minutos antes y tener que esperar afuera hasta tanto fuera la 1:30 pm , debieron abrir las puertas y dejar entrar a los que teníamos reservas y abrir el bar para que pidiéramos mientras abrían el restaurante

Tried the legendary mole. It was cool but the meal was nothing special. The ingredients were every day normal things. Nothing super special or rare.

Food is good but definitely overrated. Mexican wines were delicious but overpriced compared to other top restaurants where we had the same bottles. The scallop tostada, mole, and dessert were my favorite dishes. Overall good but not amazing.

The Tasting menu and pairings were amazing. Although quite pricey +$1000 (U.S. dollars) for four. Excellence in service!
Would have liked to see a dress code; too casual and for us was a deterrent.

Service was impeccable and so well coordinated. Each course was exquisitely prepared and presented - almost like a piece of art on each plate. Wine pairings were perfect and brought out the flavors of the food. The ambience included a beautiful green garden and understated but classy decor. We appreciated the Captain's explanation of how the restaurant came to be and the many influences that the chef brought into the day's menu. This is probably the best upscale Mexican cuisine in Mexico City.

There are equality as good restaurants for a fraction of the cost. For $250 USD I expected to walk out having the best culinary journey of my life. While the services and venue were top-notch, the dishes felt less coherent than I wanted. Mole was amazing while the ceviche was honestly just ok, and could have used more citrus. Not sure I’ll be back but happy I had the experience.

We enjoyed the food- but for being the number 12 restaurant in the world we expected a little more. We decided to try the tasting menu - while the overall experience was good I would not think I would return unless the menu changed and the person I was with would like to try it. Each dish had a beautiful display/ but the taste did not meet expectations of a memorable experience. During this trip we also dined at Quintonil - and the service, food, was beyond what we had at Pujol.

Definitivamente una experiencia culinaria que no te descepcionará. Y lo mejor es que dicha experiencia se centra en la comida y en disfrutarla, no en presumir que estás en un lugar caro, como es a veces el caso en muchos otros lugares.

Our experience was excellent. Wine and cocktails recommendations were on point. It was a long experience about 3.5 hrs. Around 35 mins between dishes.

Great food with some new flavors i had never experienced before such as the sorbe and aloe. The plates were portioned perfectly which sounds simple but often places get this wrong. The service was simply amazing and everyone was delightful to interact with. That they had fernet branca on hand was an added plus at the end of the meal.

Una de las 6 comensales se intoxico, debe haber habido un marisco malo, es importante comentarlo con el restaurant porque esto no es aceptable en un restaurant de este nivel.
Lo demás muy rico y variado como era de esperarse.
Se adapto muy bien el menu a la persona que era vegetariana.

As a vegetarian, the staff was excellent in explaining my dishes and I felt they were just as exquisite as my companion's. Of course, as soon as they walked away i forgot half of what they said which made the combination of flavors much more interesting to explore. My favorite, though, was essentially carrots, three ways: roasted, pickled, and in a mousse. The real explanation is much more detailed and elegant, but suffice to say it was probably the best vegetable dish I've ever eaten.

The ambiance was busy, the music a bit too loud and I would have preferred a table further from the kitchen exit, however, the dishes came out at a perfect pace and I was neither hurried nor waiting long for the next to arrive.

I ordered a drink and the glass was broken. They didn’t replace the potentially glass containing drink but even worst, when I asked for a second drink they gave me the same broken glass. The food was bland. I tasted a ceviche but the fish was not cut properly. They served a mole which was good but was not accompanied by any protein which was basically eating a sauce. The price is too high for what you receive.
