   Usually better than this. Taco Tuesday so we waited for almost 12 minutes for our reservation to be Honored. Service was average at best. I had to go hunt down more iced tea and never were we checked in during the meal. The tacos were all 10 out of 10. The flan was horrible. No one liked it. The tres leche cake was good. Half priced tacos are astral but the service needs to be the equal to its normal.

   We had a wonderful birthday celebration for my 30 year old nephew. The food was amazing, the margaritas were delicious and our server, Jocelyn, was outstanding. Taco Tuesday rocks at Puesto.

   Our server Dimitar is alway fantastic and gives the best customer service. The food was great as always.

   First, I wanna say the service was great, our server John and Bartender Luke are always excellent. We come here often and sometimes as frequently as once a week. One of the reasons we come there so often is we love the margaritas and unfortunately, the margaritas that my wife orders, the hot sauce margarita has been removed from the menu and it’s something that they cannot make any longer. I hear It is one of the favorites for other customers as well. Another thing that we ordered was the flautas appetizer, normally there is a lot of chicken throughout , but something has changed recently. There was only chicken on the inside with like 2 inches on either side with nothing at all. There are other changes to the menu as well, but this just happens to be something that we order regularly. Other than that it was a great experience. Not sure how much we will frequent in the future with the removal of the favorite margarita but we will still be dining here. It seems that something is changing, hopefully for the better. My favorite margarita the Cadillac or the Puesto perfect is excellent and my favorite tacos are the filet mignon all the way.    Second time I’ve been at Puesto Mission Valley for family dinner. Food was great!!! However, both times the service was not great. Servers didn’t seem to be happy to work there. They didn’t come around or followed up on a couple of requests.

   We had a reservation to eat at Puesto. But, we chose to sit at the bar because we tend to have a lot of fun sitting at a bar in a restaurant rather than a table. The food was amazing. Unfortunately, the two bartenders were not. Not engaging, difficult to get their attention, even just for a straw or a napkin and utensils. Although, the bar backs were great! Thankful that we were able to get their attention. I would’ve given a five star rating if the bartenders were kind. Because of that, we will not be going back there. Maybe we will try a different location because we did enjoy the food.

    Food was slightly overpriced and the service was LACKING. However; it was very tasty so I would visit again.
